Isis is the mother of Horus god of war.

Isis is now taking over Syria and Iraq to create an Islamic caliphate.

Will a new Islamic leader be born in the Middle East and a new Persian empire established as a world power?

Things are going to get real weird in the next 10-15 years with this sharia law and Islam.

I find it offensive, personally. A bunch of bloodthirsty assholes killing people because of a petty squabble about Muhammad's heir. They aren't worthy of the word Isis.

Those assholes could learn a lot by watching the old Isis tv show. It was on right after captain marvel.

The acronym definitely wasn't intentional. Isis is essentially the Egyptian version of their Ishtar, who is equally hated by Islam. At least they weren't called the Jihad Eastern Sect Under Syria (J.E.S.U.S.)... though that would have been hilarious.

They'd kill me alongside the Christians for my reverence for Isis so I'm pretty sure they will change their name once enough Muslims start complaining.
