Not surprising in the least, seems that terrorists threaten any large event tbese days and it doesnt get bigger than the World Cup.

Don't think anyone has claimed it yet but BBC is reporting.

Yobe is one of three areas under a state of emergency amid attacks by suspected Boko Haram militants.

There was an explosion outside a soccer viewing centre here in Damaturu at around 20:15," Sanusi Ruf'ai, police commissioner for Yobe state, told AFP news agency.

"Our men have deployed to the scene but it's too early for us to give details."

Trucks carrying bodies have arrived at a local hospital, Reuters news agency reported, citing a source at the hospital.

Wouldn't work.

Islam needs to institute the same lesson the west learned long ago.

And create a separation of church, and state.

Since 'radicals' have a marriage of their religious, and political views wrapped up in that oh so awesome ball called 'jihad'.

I seriously don't understand how the innocent people can live under these religious laws.

A young boy works all month at the Nike soccerball factory and on payday wants to run to town to spend his $2.00 on a sack of grain his mother can cook on a hot rock outside their mud hut and some religious nut blows up the market.

Why not just one mass suicide bombing and they can all go be with alla? Their antics are getting old.

If an entire Islamic Earth is a part of their prophecies...then, reason, rationale, open hands...nothing will dissuade them.
Christianity has the same kind/s of prophecies...and some are on the edge/s of their seats waiting for God (or some mouthpiece for God) to give the marching orders. I have been among them.
