Nothing would make me happier then having America isolate herself from the rest of the world just so we can sit back and listen to the rest of the world cry and beg for our help and when we ignore the cries for help then we can read on ATS how mean we are for not helping.
Point is no matter what we do or don't do other countries will always hate America and for no other reason then jealousy.
You're probably right.....
Anyone who thinks Churchill would have asked for help if he didn't need it is a fool. He was one of the strongest leaders in history, he liked to say he wooed Roosevelt into the war. Churchill was an intellectual giant compared to Roosevelt. He would have never asked if he didn't need it. How he and Roosevelt actually got us into the war is yet another conspiracy.
Churchill knew that American as well as British interests where under threat from Nazi Germany. Why should Britain alone take the fight to Nazi's.Churchill wanted The U.S. to make a fair contribution in defeating Hitler. Only problem is the American's charged for it.
Probably the only "Charge" they made throughout the war

It is quite obvious that you have no intention of addressing the topic of the thread, only to troll and to disrupt conversation by throwing out catchphrases and literally making stuff up in order to attempt to make a point.
I have no interest in participating in this childish behaviour.

Corporations and banks are America's government these days, so let's not fool ourselves otherwise - and that's why the country is heading for the toilet. It's also the reason why America is mistrusted and disliked.
How/why has such a great country allowed the greedy few to bring it down so far into disrepute?
America used to be like a father-figure to the world, not any more. Many people now see it as the mother of all corruption. And I'm one of those people.

Honestly this whole thread is childish, if you put any country in the ops title we would have the same comments.
All countries have the same problems but right now it's hip to blame the worlds problem on the United States you know it and I know it.

It is funny how people forget all the good things America did for the world.
Oh well.
The United States is the world's most generous nation, according to a global index of giving, as a higher proportion of Americans helped a stranger than any other country in the world.
The 2013 World Giving Index – published annually by international nonprofit organization Charities Aid Foundation – looks at three measures: monetary giving, volunteering and helping of strangers in a typical month. The survey, published on Tuesday, was carried out in 2012 across 135 countries.

Are you mad? Or do you just believe those American History books you read.
After The Battle Of Britain ( that was 1940 by the way) Britain was never in danger of being "Over run by the Nazi's" Britain was taking the fight to Hitler you darn fool.
Do you still believe that America invented The World Wide Web? That must be in those same American History books you have been reading.
Hundreds of German warplanes begin bombing London every night for 57 nights in attacks that will continue until May 1941. More than 40,000 people will die in the Blitz as Londoners call the air raid campaign.
Germany, Italy, and Japan sign a treaty (the Tripartite Pact) that makes the three countries allies against England and France. The treaty is also seen as a warning to the United States: Stop helping England and France. (The United States had traded 50 old destroyers to England in exchange for naval and air bases in the Western Hemisphere.)

The first message and network crash
On Friday October 29, 1969 at 10:30 p.m., the first Internet message was sent from computer science Professor Leonard KleinRock's laboratory at UCLA, after the second piece of network equipment was installed at SRI. This connection not only enabled the first transmission to be made, but is also considered the first Internet backbone.

Most of the time it is not the quantity of words written it is the quality of the words.
Neither of which that particular poster is demonstrating.
