I think you may be on to something.

Economies crashing and war historically go together. The global economy crashing may very well lead to a world at war(again).

Some argue that we are already fighting a world war.

I think you have a point.

If one considers the Chinese classic THE ART OF WAR . . . then probably quite right, we are already in the earlier stages of WW III.

Certainly the stage is being set for major . . . conflagrations of the worst sort.

You might find this thread of interest in terms of the NWO schemers . . . and therefore what regarding training one's children, family to prepare:

What does he mean by "economic collapse"? For whom? For millions, even in the US, every day is faced with illness with no medical care, face having utilities turned off by choosing to pay another bill. Going to bed every night hoping you have a place to live for another month. No matter what country the choices are the same and the daily stress the same. DUCK if you hear a loud pop noise, no matter where you are; shopping, church, school, on your street, in your home. One pay check away from homelessness is not much different than already being there. Because it is always in the back of your mind. Thanks Sir, but you are late to the party and the consequences are set in motion. You should be using your wealth and setting up orphanages everywhere. Even here.

The say all wars are banker wars. The banks finance the wars. War gives them great opportunity to grab resources and even do a little pest control.

Unfortunately some of us are considered the pests.

As to the regional wars, I would guess this is referring to what is going on in the ME right now. IDC if he is sitting on a gold toilet seat, it's still important that people be told what is going on, no matter who tells it. These warnings shouldn't be taken light and yes I would guess with the wealth and power the Vatican hold, this is a warning that came from the metaphorical crystal ball of the Vatican.

Also there was an article published by NASA a couple months ago that warned of impending economic meltdown because of the unequal distribution of wealth. Let's face it the money isn't flowing like it used to. The banks toilet got clogged up a long time ago and the stuffs starting to flow out now.

To be taken seriously, he first should close down the Vatican Bank!!!

Empty words...

I wouldn't call him a pope.

The pope is Benedict XVI.

Unfortunately he is a voice crying in the wilderness because the Western bankers, politicians, and austerity inducing leaders in Europe and America won’t listen to him.
Austerity has made things worse. Austerity is for the low and middle classes as the rich get richer the poor get poorer.

It may be that this Pope is giving the Mammon worshiping Western powers the last warning…

They are anti-human greedy pigs who don’t care about nothing but their golf course size, mansion acreage, and how close they are to being a billionaire.

They, as he reminded, are worshipers of MAMMON Mammon

/ˈmæmən/, in the New Testament of the Bible, is material wealth or greed, most often personified as a deity, and sometimes included in the seven princes of Hell.

Interesting. first a quote from the NT : "Choose you this day whom ye shall serve for you cannot serve both God and Mammon" Mammon means riches. All those churches with prosperity ministries and who pimp God need to consider this.

On another note--kudos to the Pope--too little too late, though. we are on the verge of a global meltdown, money is not the half of it--the planet is about to split asunder due to the effects of excess methane and run away global warming. Crazy weather, droughts, famines, super bugs, corruption and at least in America the laws falling apart and politicians grabbing dual citizenships and buying property in Paraguay on the other side of the equator.

WHAT is coming? Whatever it is, has municipalities saying almost anything goes, laws are ignored, offices are closing, you can count on your local bank and stores to cheat and paperwork to be held up--corruption is rampant--as if collectively, we all know the world is ending and everyone is grabbing as many opportunities and stuff off the shelves and out of each other's pockets as fast as they can--because the party is almost over.

It is not just about war--war or not our technological prowess has driven us out of harmony with the earth and trended every single creature on it, towards extinction, with or without money in their pockets.

So did Pope Francis look in a crystal ball, get a message from God or did he happen to pick up a newspaper.

Near collapse, this is old news LOL, the writing has been on the wall for a long time for those with eyes to see and mind to comprehend.

Cheers - Dave

Nope... I think the Pope is knowledgeable of the Prophetic Interpretations that come from a Messianic Rabbi----

see: The Nine Harbingers and the collapse of America(Jonathan Cahn)

which revolves around ISAIAH 9:10...(the sequence of cursing ancient Israel and the corresponding current cursing of America)

What needs attention is the 7 year cycle of Shemitah which happened on '29 Elul' --> the DAY OF the USA 2008 Market Crash !

the Shemitah cycle will recur on Sept 13th, 2015... just before the 4th Tetrad 'blood moon' of this 'Four Horsemen' tetrad of 2014-2015 (I understand that 'blood moon' happens on Sept 28th 2015)...

I suggest the USD undergoes collapsed --- western banking system gets trash-canned --- or all US Treasuries are deemed Trash ---- & the economy goes into hyper-inflation--- in that 15 day Window of 13-28 Sept 2015 between the 7 year 'Shemitah' cycle & the 4th blood moon of this eerie Tetrad

then we can feel assured the USA has been condemned to Judgement and Collapse
& my forecasts were correct--along with the Rabbi Cahn & Pope Francis
(who both, incidently, failed to link the 4 blood moon Tetrad to the Isiaiah 9 Curse sequence)

get prepped folks...

in the near future the 2nd blood-moon of this tetrad, October 8th 2014, should bring in the Red Horse of War
(there are two prophetic unfoldings happening in tandem here...intertwined, the 4 horsemen & the curse sequence and some prophetic results may overlap)

and what does he propose as a solution? I don't think capitalism is wrong or anything, but i think that perhaps it needs to be reset once in a while, like the tree of liberty needing to be watered by the blood of patriots an tyrants....the system needs to be brought down, the rothschilds an rockefellers an george soros brought down an the system reset

I'm amazed by all the apparent inteligencia on ATS coming out to decry the Pope's statement and this thread because anyone can see how bad things are from reading a newspaper so what's so impressive about the Pope saying pointing this out.

The point here is that the Pope would say these things - the kind of rhetoric used by activists and conspiracy nuts, And here's the head of the Catholic Church - a prime target of activists - preaching the activist's mantra....

That in itself a major coup - the man who represents Jesus actually sounding like Jesus. Pretty exciting stuff.

I suppose this may be true if you're into labels and putting ordinary people on a throne above you. If you know anything about the Catholic church you would know they're far away from any moral resemblance of Jesus and his teachings. Yes exciting if you say so.

So this isn't unusual then? Cool!

btw,, when was the last time a Pope blamed corporate war mongers for causing all our wars in order to make profit?

See, i was mistakingly under the impression that Popes don't really say this kind of thing - only historical figures who may or may not be real.

I imagine most of us here on a conspiracy website are aware of the theories regarding Vatican corruption. But they're theories, while this is fact - the guy really said it, didn't he?

I am glad someone else opened a thread on this, when I first read this right after this was on the MSM, I didn't have time to open a thread , but I have been too busy, but I had some discussions with some neighbors the other day, what I take from this is, it's an omen, the capitalist system has failed what doth the Pope offer as cures to the failure? what is the ultimate solution to this issue ? hmmmm... socialist or unified system seem to be the only ones that come to mind, remove the arms making and ability the source fuel what he seems to say is the means to an end, the Pope to me is right in line with the ultimate agenda of the UN, am i right or wrong? there is nothing bold or courageous about this speech, the handwriting is on the wall and he is just telling the world what to expect very shortly, he even made the subtle reference to WWIII, you have to read in between the lines, just my interpretation, but everything to seems to point to WWIII as the apex to all of this.

Common sense ... the world economy could easily collapse. It's fragile. It's manipulated. It's corrupt.

posted on Jun, 15 2014 @ 04:17 PM
doth the Pope offer as cures to the failure?

LOOK at the pope. He rejects all the pump and glamour all previous popes before him had.
He doesn't sit on a jewel-crowned chair, for instance...and last I heard he even rides public transport instead of a Limo.

Isn't that SYMBOL enough of what's necessary for a change in our society? Isn't that message enough?

OH NO...wait...we're too busy eying the latest $500 iphone for 10 year old Becky or wanting that $400 Dyson stand fan.

I don't think it's the Pope's duty to offer a solution to economic and social issues, this is the effing politicians job! (I mean, REAL, "theoretic" politicians, not the greed-clowns we have). But at least he points the issues out. In a society where a vast majority of people are blind, ignorant, stupid etc..and need an "authority" to tell them what's going on nevertheless a welcomed thing.

The world economy, the Western one in particular, is collapsing for a long time already. It's collapsing since the 70s once oil/gas got so expensive to make former goat herders in Saudi Arabia to billionaires. It's collapsing since the cold war even, where billions went into defense rather than useful stuff which benefits people. It's collapsing since companies realized they can outsource jobs to India/Pakistan. It's hard to choose a "winner" on WHEN exactly the collapse started, but just opening the eyes (to me) makes it clear that the collapse is long here, not something "to come in the future".

One problem is that our economic well-being is evaluated by looking at a few corporates, how MS is doing, how Apple is doing, how well this or a that corporate is doing. Look at the WHOLE picture, look at everyone, not only the 1% whether they managed to multiply their billions into multiple billions. It's irrelevant. It's irrelevant whether Walmart possibly made 5% profits in the last year for now 5 consecutive years when increasingly more people live near the poverty threshold, have no health insurance or cant afford education.

He must be basing it off the total amount of donations to the church... I like this pope but why does he feel the need to even talk about this?

posted on Jun, 15 2014 @ 05:06 PM
He just might, hundreds of accounts have already been closed, he has removed many if not most of those who were in charge. He has outside advisors looking at the options, and one of those is closure.
What the Pope has said in the OP, is blindingly, obviously right. You don't hear many politico's coming out with that do you?

We could all say the same thing, we all may know that, but who's listening?
