Sad, really.

Not only do they cast the "don't care" along with the standard "it doesn't make any difference" illusion, they actually encourage corruption.

They absolutely 100% are in favor of that system.

Government agencies are suppose to be APOLITICAL.

As in their only function is to obey and enforce the law.

Clearly the IRS doesn't think that.

Just like DHS,DOJ,ICE,EPA and a whole slew of others.

Something like this is not just a small condensed effort.

It took 100's of people and a master plan.

Then Lois Lerner wouldn't have had to plead the 5th.
The IRS wouldn't have stone-walled on document releases.

I think pleading the 5th was very smart of her, keeps her from being thrown under the bus anymore so than she already is.

I have to applaud the IRS, most government agencies would be happy to use one of their employees as a scapegoat for a scandal.

Issa is clearly not interested in finding the truth, the manner in which he's conducted these investigations show that clearly. rather he just wants a statement he can spin into a confession of some guilt. Picking it apart asking about each word, getting the person being examined tired/fatigued/frusterated/flustered to the point where they begin to make self-incriminating statements.

Heck I could see all these investigations (the sheer number of them, all the hearings, the pain in the ass it must be to have to schedule your life around said hearings and investigations) as almost a form of torture, a subtle form, but one that has the same effect (gets people to confess to anything just to get it to stop).

So if YOU don't like a person politically, they cannot have rights. and we are supposed to support the TEA Party?

How are we supposed to support an ideology that can't afford all citizens the same protections under the constitution?

Sounds to me like the TEA Party needs extra scrutiny. But once again the TEA Party shows us all that the reality of the situation is that they are the American equivalent of the Taliban, rights for some, oppression for the rest.
