The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services is welcoming members of Congress and their senior staff to tour a temporary shelter being used to house illegal immigrant children — but the invite comes with a list of rules, including a suggestion that members leave their cellphones in their vehicles. Read more: dailycaller.com...

The tours are meant to give members and staffers an inside look at how temporary facilities are being used to house illegal immigrant children who came to the U.S. without their parents. The minors, who hail mostly from El Salvador, Honduras and Guatemala, are being called “Unaccompanied Children,” or UACs. Read more: dailycaller.com...

Wait what ?

Why the hell should a congressman be told to leave their phones in their vehicles ?

They are US CONGRESSMAN!

Sent to members of Congress and staff by Rose Hacking, of the office of the assistant secretary of legislation at HHS, the invitation comes with the following commands: Read more: dailycaller.com...

No recording devices will be allowed (We may ask you to leave your cellphone in our vehicle) Read more: dailycaller.com...

No questions will be allowed during the tour, but questions will be addressed later No interacting with staff and children at the shelter Read more: dailycaller.com...

We will provide photos of the facility after the tour Read more: dailycaller.com...

What the hell is this North Korea ?

And.

'Unaccompanied' Children' !

I love political correctness in this country.

Illegal immigrants, and they were made illegal immigrants by laws those congressman wrote.

And passed during the Reagan, and Clinton era's.

But one congressional staffer invited to tour the facility called the planned tours “a dog and pony show.” Read more: dailycaller.com...

That is exactly what it is.

“Don’t talk to anyone, don’t record anything you might happen to see, but come visit us and we’ll give you a sanitized story with only the photos and accounts we want you to have,” said the staffer, who requested anonymity. Read more: dailycaller.com...

Pretty much true there.

'UAC's' !

What a joke.

Which is illegal and they would know that, its another one of his null and void at conception comands because it violates constitution, due process and a number of real laws that trump anything he comes up with.

So naturally they ignored him, right????

Because any council of elders and grandmothers would have!

Time to man and woman up and not allow this corruption, which is illegal and null and void to stand.

I cannot believe this WH still has the nerve to keep this on their website. Obama's hypocrisy knows no bounds.

Just guessing of course, but it could be that once again it might show how illegals get better treatment than our own? Especially veterans?

It's a given they won't be put on any 'waiting lists'.

Just goes to show that the current administration will throw US servicemen, and veterans under the bus for his political gain.

On Megan Kelly's show last night, she showed about 10 photos an unnamed Congressperson had taken with a phone and sent to FOX networks. It was horrible.

All these people, mostly young teens and older, were packed like sardines in chain link kennels. Looked just like what you see at the dog pound, type kennels.

I'm in a rush...but I'll try to find the pics online.

ETA: Pics and some vital info...and more pics. And a video you should see.

It’s just chain-link cells 20-feet tall with razor wire around them, this is inside a warehouse.
They are probably 50 by 100 [feet] and there’s probably 10 or 11 of these big cages like that and so there’s
probably 100-200 aliens in each cell, or cage and there’s just park benches right down the middle, two rows
of park benches and then they give them these little rubber mats, a little foam pad to lay on. We don’t have
enough blankets so they’re issuing out those foil blankets, it’s like a piece of tin foil and that’s all they get.
There are so many people crammed. The smell is just horrendous, horrendous.”

I found the strangest thing today while looking for maps of concentration camp photos for another topic and it made me think if these immigration camps

Deportations will make you free, the European concentration camps of the 21st century

Temporary Detention Centres for migrants

A highly profitable industry is found behind the Temporary Detention Centres for migrants (CIEs) in Spain and everywhere in Europe. From the companies building the facilities or providing catering services and health care, to the airline companies engaged in the assisted deportations of undocumented migrants. It often happens that executives of these companies also hold positions in decision-making bodies concerned with immigration issues or in powerful lobbies, thus putting themselves in a position to influence public policies in favour of their companies.

CIEs – Temporary Detention Centres for migrants
www.x-pressed.org...
In Spain there are currently eight CIEs for undocumented migrants under the process of deportation. One would assume that, if a deportation is impossible, the detention, making no sense, would be stopped. However, according to Martínez Escamilla’s survey in the book “Women in Detention Centres”, in 2011 only 48% of people held in CIEs were eventually deported.

OUR WORLD is becoming more and more TWISTED

That's horrible, however some of these people are definitely not children, probable the caretakers who help the kids get to the border.

Heard a congressman say they want to find the point of origin of these immigrants, this is all so suspicious.

These tactics are so reminiscent of old Soviet-style behavior.

Guess I shouldn't be surprised.

Well he did promise to 'fundamentally transform' the US.

A promise actually he delivered on.

Good for him, not so much for us.

The first thing that should happen is that the word should be put out that child abandonment laws will be used. Each of these minors will be considered to have been abandoned by their legal guardians who have henceforth given up all legal rights to them. That should nip the flood in the bud. Any kids whose parents are trying to use them to piggy back into legal status would no longer get it through them.

Any families who can't bear to be separated will have to be reunited in their countries of origin, meaning we ship the kids back.

If the kids stay, maybe we'll have to revive the whole Orphan Train concept and send them to families who want kids, potluck.

Pretty much standard operating procedure for a prison. Prison guards aren't allowed to carry personal cameras, cellphones, smart phones, pads, tablets, or laptops on to their facilities. Its usually done to protect the identity of certain individuals, and to keep anyone on the “inside” from being able to make unauthorized, unmonitored, contact with anyone on the outside. As this place is full of minors, I can understand them protecting their identities.

Wait a moment you are making this up, right? this is not in the US, right? and if this all true and we are not living in a dictatorship where congress members are nothing but common servants of the executive branch, then what is congress reaction to all this.

I can only think that congress should said right there and then Mr. President you are under arrest and screw you rules.

Or it is really, really true, we have our first bona fide dictator in the white house.

Then is for the people to make the arrest.

Wait a moment, that would be right for a prison, but we are talking about refugees and Congress members, you know the ones that make and pass laws in the US or we are not longer the US this days

Well this is pathetic. And it's not just the administration. Where are all the reporters and MSM types? Where are the activists and protestors? Where are all the congressmen and women? Where are the state leadership?

See that's the problem. They're all in on it. Republicans and Democrats together. State and Fed.

Well knowing how the present administration is persecuting, whistleblowers and putting bans on the media is not surprise that we do not see much about the mess with the border and the exodus of illegals.

Then top that with now Iraq making headline news and yes I have to agree that both sides are together on this mess and they don't give a crap about the voters and tax payers that will be at the short end of the stick.

To tell the truth we have a runaway government that now is making rules and laws as it goes.
