G'day everyone!

I'm pretty boring really - middle-age-ish mother, working, house, stable relationships, pagan, emergency services volunteer, keen interest in bush survival... That's pretty much it.

Hope everyone is having a great day/night/whateverthehell timezone and I look forward to reading through the site and indulging in some interesting conversation.

Welcome to the show. There is lots to dig into if you enjoy survival talk. I figured you being from aussiland, would already know everything about survival. Any wild stories to tell? How big is your knife?

Hope you have fun, see you on the boards. Don't be afraid to speak up. No one else is. Haha.

Wild stories? Nah, not really, unless you count arguing with a goanna about who was going to have the cooking utensil it had a hold of as a wild story, lol. My camping trips can sometimes get a little... interesting.

And my knife is big enough!

Haha yea. Any time you find yourself arguing with a lizard, you know it's gotten out of hand. I hope you won. I'm sure you did. Big enough indeed.

Only just! I'm not the largest person on the planet, and the bloody lizard was almost as long as me.

Hey Expat, ever thought of hiring a professional macaque trainer? You might get more beer to yourself that way!

Hi Pronto! I don't know about warmer here, we're heading for a low of about 4 again here tonight.

Thanks for the welcomes everyone! I'm feeling the love.

Beers all 'round!

Had considered it .. but the little bugger is incorrigible .. on the plus side he is good at washing dishes and picking coconuts .. he'd probably drive the trainer to drink with his antics ..

G'day pronto oh he does that but then refuses to give over his loot .. last time got thrown out in tokyo he had pinched a couple of the barmaids bums .. along with nicking a couple beers .. he's incorrigible .. though the crowd was laughing at his antics as we got shown the door ..

Welcome from just north of you.

Have a look around, there are quite a few of us from the same area here.

I see pronto and bally have already made an entrance, figures.

And of course expat, who even though isn't one of us, always reminds me a bit of TwoDads off Sea Patrol.

(Prolly coz of the monkey....)
