Supposedly in Central America there are TV adds to come to America with your children because America wont turn you away.

I really do think a borderless America is being pushed by this administration. There has been an influx of immigrants and I don't really think Obama is talking about anything but making illegal's lives easier... Because they are people too. I'm sick of that crap. Yea they are people so lets help their nation progress. Not dump ours down the drain for socialism.

This woman doesn't omit the Federals role in this either. They are taking bribes to help people get across. Why isn't this a big #ing deal.

They don't need ads to tell them that. That's the way it's been for a pretty long time for most folks crossing the border. There has been a lot "looking the other way" going on and I agree that this administration would have already granted amnesty if not for public outcry. I am still pretty convinced that Obama will grant blanket amnesty before his last day in office comes.

I perfectly understand why they want to come here. Who wouldn't want a shot at a better life for themselves and their children? But I do not agree that everyone should be let in whenever and however they wish. I have the utmost respect for those that came here and worked hard to become a citizen the legal way. When done the legal way the immigrant has protection that an illegal immigrant would not. Like working 18 hours a day for $20. Who is the illegal immigrant going to report that to? Nobody... because they don't want to be caught themselves.

People don't look at that side of the argument though. Their bottom line is that you are racist. You can't argue with those folks about benefits to all parties if everything is done on the up and up.

As sad as this is, they need to fix their own countries. The US cant take any more illegal immigration.

I am glad that Mexico is starting to look down upon immigrating to the US. Its a slow growing sentiment, but its growing so that is good. The damage is done but at least they are starting to feel the guilt of many years of illegal crossing and otherwise pitiful existences as second class non citizens. In Mexico there is hope for a brighter future after the new generation finally started to look to improving their home country before simply jumping ship.

Now there is the long road ahead for Mexico to finally make that a reality. Also and more importantly, all of south America needs to start looking to improve their home countries.

It sad and hard to accept. It still must be done. We need to turn them away. They need to fix their home countries and come here as trained professionals or skilled workers. We will take them if thats the case. If not, please dont come. If you cant get an education and technical training and wish to get it here, then come here legally so you can enroll in school and afterwards contribute in a meaningful way.

I am not even fazed by tears and the same old story. The world and life is hard. I look at those that run from their home as the worst type of person to take in. They would run from the US if it were in trouble. They wouldnt stay and fight to improve it.

So where do these people get the money to pay of all these people while there child show's sign of malnutrition ??

Malnutrition will damage the children to the point they won't be able to even attend school...so what then is the point again for coming here.

These people are learning from the best to exploit there kids and lie through there teeth, but they will be the one's on the streets with no life and no family, this will end worse then where they came from.

You are correct, we can't a take any more illegals
With 13 million plus illegals already, that is more than enough to fill those 'dirty jobs' that no one else wants

We already have a high unemployment as is for regular American citizens
That will just be that many more people, illegals at that, on government assistance that you and I will be paying for

I posted this in another thread, in 2012 Obama signed the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals Act.
I'll post the continents and Link for the Obama Supporters who''l be here denying Obama would ever do such a thing.

Today, the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services will begin accepting requests for consideration of deferred action for childhood arrivals. Deferred action is a discretionary determination to defer removal action of an individual as an act of prosecutorial discretion. Under this process, USCIS will consider requests on a case-by-case basis. While this process does not provide lawful status or a pathway to permanent residence or citizenship, individuals whose cases are deferred will not be removed from the United States for a two year period, subject to renewal, and may also receive employment authorization. To be considered for this process, you must show that:

You came to the United States before reaching your 16th birthday
You have continuously resided in the United States since June 15, 2007, up to the present time
You were under the age of 31 as of June 15, 2012
You entered without inspection before June 15, 2012, or your lawful immigration status expired as of June 15, 2012
You are currently in school, have graduated or obtained your certificate of completion from high school, have obtained your general educational development certification, or you are an honorably discharged veteran of the Coast Guard or Armed Forces of the United States
You have not been convicted of a felony, significant misdemeanor, or three or more misdemeanors, and do not otherwise pose a threat
You were present in the United States on June 15, 2012, and at the time of making your request for consideration of deferred action with USCIS

T WH.gov
This is the bases their using I think for their TV commercial and Obama is more worried about them than America's Own Children.
Don't we have Children that need Shelter, Food, Clothes, Education ( other than Progressive ) and most of All, Support!

This is just an observation of what I have seen. Most of the illegals are coming from Central American countries that in some way the US has had dealings with. It was weird traveling through all of CA it seemed every country that used US military hardware were the ones you didn't want to live in. One of the first things I noticed in Guatemala or Honduras were the M16s or US leftover vehicles. It puzzled me as to our involvement. People generally were not as happy in those countries as their counterparts like Nicaragua. Costa Rica has been dealing with an influx of immigrants proportionately worse than we do.

It is all just an observation is all. Of course I can understand the lure of CR I go back often but I never understood why people flocked to Nicaragua from the countries above the economy wasn't much different but I do admit the populace seemed pretty happy.

Sorry I am not really going anywhere with this. I tell you what though Guatemala and Honduras inner cities are some pretty dangerous places. I can't blame anyone for trying to find a better home/country than stay there. You would have a much better life expectancy in Detroit.

It wouldn't shock me at all if it came to light our government was paying for the television ads down there.

We've always had thousands upon thousands of illegals coming in through Arizona but this seems different.

The huge amount of children coming in by themselves is strange.

Granted it is hard enough trip for a family, who the hell turns their 9 year old loose in the desert and points them North and tells them to run.....?

Someone who is desperate. They can't save themselves, they can only hope and pray that their child will make it.

Is it a really fair to call the CIA the "Government"?
This is like some nightmarish distortion of the "Fast & Furious" revelations only instead of tracking guns, they're probably tracking people...

I can't see the video right now, but I view this whole thing as basically a voter (fraud) registration effort, since democrats are losing big ground in the polls, they have to bring voters in from elsewhere. Get them here so that when they pass amnesty (fat chance now that Cantor is out), they will have a brand new batch of voters.

By endangering the child's life? If we did something like that, we would get arrested for child endangerment or child abuse.

I guess you have never seen true desperation. Have you ever been in a survival situation where you had to make a decision between one really crappy choice and another?

The child was already in danger! They are trying to get the child out of danger! Do you know what kind of conditions they are hoping to escape?

Would you rather watch your child die of starvation? Would you rather let your child live with the high probability being raped beaten and murdered? Or encourage them to finish a journey you are unable to complete? You want to bet that a decent percentage of these children were the result of rape?

If you look at the tons of pictures you will not see one 'starving' child. Hungry yes, living in a bad situation, yes. We have tons of children just like them right here. We have parents who will not allow their children to play outside for fear the child will get shot or raped.

We have cities that are very, very dangerous where shootings are a common thing. The elderly, children and everyone in between are terrified and can't afford to live anywhere else. We have tent cities everywhere, hungry and homeless people where it is now against the law in many places for us to feed these people unless it is at a shelter or soup kitchen. Shelters are constantly filled to capacity etc.

People from all over the world are hungry and homeless, even right here in the USA. It is tragic and my heart goes out to anyone from anywhere who must suffer, but the USA is not the world's savior. We can't possibly be expected to save the world.

Have you ever been in a survival situation where you had to make a decision between one really crappy choice and another?

We have tons of people who have to decide between life saving medicines or food. We have desperate people who can't afford to feed their families, make a buck or two over the poverty limit and get no help whatsoever. Yes, right here in the USA we have desperately poor people being faced with hard decisions every day.

What does you reply to me have to do with my reply to the question you asked?

My response to your question is what would motivate someone to send their child across the border alone. It has nothing to do with with the poverty level in America. Is the fact that there is poverty in America your argument against my statement that parents send their kids across because they are desperate?

I was only answering the question of why someone would send their kid across the border. Americas responsibility or lack of responsibility is irrelevant to the reason behind a parents decision to send their child over the border. What drove the parents who couldn't get out, to send their children alone to America during WWII?

You don't need to tell me about poverty in America. You can find my post on the "what poverty means to you" thread. I was looking at my social security statement and saw I only made $732 for the entire year I posted about. I think I know a bit about poverty in America.

If you want to discuss poverty in America or whether America has any moral responsibility to these kids than fine, but don't do it under the guise of trying to refute my claim that people sent their kids across the border because they were desperate.

“They have heard that anybody who crosses into the United States can stay,” said a Border Patrol agent who works in the sector and is not authorized to speak on the matter. “So they keep coming.”

"Cabrera said that on “at least one occasion we had a confirmed MS-13 that was released to his family,” referring to the ultraviolent transnational Mara Salvatrucha gang. Because the 17-year-old had no criminal history in the United States, he was allowed to stay.

Cuellar said Border Patrol agents and medical staff have confirmed cases of highly contagious diseases among the illegal immigrants..."
