The Great Dogs of Change

The following is a short 'poem' or pro's poem or whatever it would be termed.... I thought I'd share it for anyone interested. Hope you enjoy it.

Lo, Behold! The great Dogs of change!

Feed them! Feed them well!

Feed them in haste before he returns!

Fear him! Loathe him!

Love him only if you are weak!

For he will always maintain your current way of life.

He is the blanket which keeps your ignorance warm.

He is the promise of the eternal now.

Are you there? Have you reached it?

Do you feel the weight upon your crown?

No?

Then loathe him! Deny him!

Welcome the Dogs of change!

Feed them circumstance and misery,

Emptiness and fear,

Let them tear apart your ignorance so he may not return!

Loathe him! Pity him!

But welcome in his Dogs of change..

P.S. its about the voice of the status quo and how it may feel safe, where as change may seem scary, like it will tear up all your comforts, like the proverbial dogs but it is the status quo which keeps us ignorant and the dogs of change that shall set you free......
