I am tempted to try to get a White House petition going to end the Family Research Group's 501c status. That would really be a rabble rouser to Perkin's and his followers.....though that could backfire and he might receive a bunch of donations as a result.

The fact the Family Research Group is considered a charity organization is disturbing.

Okay, I'm responding to the topic of the thread, which is the head/President of the FRC and affiliate to Family Matters suggesting that Christians may be carted off in rail box cars for reeducation next. (after the local baker ruling in Colorado.) He's no small figure and the influence of his organization is NO SMALL thing.

“I’m beginning to think, are re-education camps next? When are they going to start rolling out the boxcars to start hauling off Christians,” asks Perkins.

The man did say that and is directly quoted in the story this thread was based upon. The reaction has been to relate and tie the Box car rail reference to the Holocaust. The audio is supplied at the source to listen to him as well. They were complete on that. Carted off by whom? Why...to his warped thinking, presumably gays or gay sympathizers. His whole tone there represents the worst of the "Moral Majority" stuff I've just gotten sick of seeing pushed into policies.

Now I compared two situations, both impossible, silly and outright insane to consider as a possibility in the real world because one? We're very familiar with in the gun debate. The other, not everyone is familiar with for the MATH involved on that Gay issues our country is working through. Comparing the two, as both being feared and forced actions of the US Government against the citizens equates for equally being impossible for the same base reason. It's not the best reason to cite perhaps, but it's fundamentally correct and numerically accurate.

I also don't buy the "Full blown collapse idea" that will be SO full blown, we'd be too desperate to eat to keep our guns....but not desperate enough to realize guns have become key to survival before that point was even reached. That, in what you're referring to, I simply don't find realistic at all.

** By the way. The JUDGE in the Colorado case ordered nothing. The re-education/sensitivity training and what I'd imagine sparked this guy at FRC to go off, was ordered by The Colorado State Civil Rights Commission....which is it's own problem, in my mind. Dual actions in the same case over the same cake.

actually, no. I think most gay men are well built, whether they are bulls or just the average guy. Usually nothing effeminate at all.
