I'm not going to get into a big arguement with you mr "trance dance". Sounds bit druggie to me. I have worked and paid tax throughout my life so far. I only had a partial grant for University and a student loan. I worked in the same job in London for 14 years, had a mortgage and then i sold my house after 5 years and then bought my land here. Paying the tax twice.
Yes it is a bit Hippy here, it's in the south of Spain not the north so it's certainly more socialist based and was once known as the Wild west of Europe. For sure there are more Anarchists living here and there always have been. That's why I live here.
What's wrong with setting up an alternative currency? It's to help people, not to get rich. I already feel rich, As I mentioned before I worked for 14 years, the first 5 I worked 7 days a week. I know some of my friends in London are stuck there probably forever, but they are aiming to move somewhere like this. While I have little income now, hardly enough to pay Autonomo, I have paid my tax on my land. I can grow my own food, I swap my olive oil for other food and i have several different types of fruit and nut trees which have recently matured and are harvestable.
Yes I do not like the police of any country, I have traveled all over this planet. I have also seen the inside of many police cars. They are all the same no matter what country you are in. I come from a country where the police are/were corrupt. And it should be obvious to you now that every government is corrupt.

A bit 'druggie' no, I'm actually an English teacher, I teach kids..so no...no drugs, no dreadlocks, no dog with a bandana round it's neck, no problem with the state. We have a deal, I leave them alone and they don't bother me either.

Nothings 'wrong' with it, however, all your talk of anarchy and anti establishment dribble, your unwillingness to pay taxes etc..You say you pay, or dont pay autonomo? Because if your ill, where do you go, hospital, right. Do they charge you...no. Why? because it's paid for from the taxes I pay....Thats why I pay...and why Africans, Morros and everyone else who have never contributed a penny to the social security system get FREE treatment here !!.

I've been here for 15 years...I came here to run a nightclub, I ended up as a qualified teacher..and as for voting, I don't vote, here or in the U.K.

While there are people such as yourself and the other hippies who wish to live free of taxes yet enjoy the services which the taxes provided, Spain will certainly not go forward..As for details of where I live I suggest you read the T&C's of the page.
As for the thread..the title MUST clearly reflect the content..The video shows no police state, no 100 to 1 and the only 'back up' is a hobby bobby on a honda 50..so if you post again please follow the guidelines of the site.

No i don't want to live outside the system, I do and have consistently paid my autonomo in various forms depending what work i'm doing. I'm not a hippy(I also find them ridiculous) you don't know anything about me to make that assumption. One town in Valencia,so doe's it or does it not exist?

I don't go to hospitals, I live a healthy drug free lifestyle and I am very rarely ill. But if I was i think I would try alternative therapy. I once worked on contract at Homerton university Hospital also in London as a technician.

Actually lets make this really simple for you, O.K.

I have no problem with the police arresting scammers and pickpockets and thieves that is their job.
I have problem with the police Taking instruments or props from people who are OBVIOUSLY being musicians and entertainers.
In that video the police risked starting trouble where there was no chance of trouble before.
Why do you think they did that?
I think the police want to cause trouble, Ok? That was the point of my post.
If you can just answer that without making assumptions about who I am or what you think I do.

If you had a valid point, I would have no problem telling you so..after all, we are here to openly debate.

However, teh fact is, and remains, that the hippies had no licence..there was no police state, no riot, no anarachy, no 100 to 1.

Having read you threads, which only deal with corrupt banking and okupas in Germany, It doesn't take a person long to fathom out you political motivations, as you say you've been arrested various times, so as a political activist I must take everything you say with a pinch of salt as its obviously riddled with bias.


And yes, I teach children. I teach them to respect authority, other people and be responsable,productive citizens..that does not include roaming from town to town living like a tramp and hoping people give you money for a crap 10 minute Punch and Judy show that has no talent.
