I'll try to break it down with my understanding of American "Law". Well first, the law is totally subjective. Meaning it is different according to who is doing the enforcing and who is being enforced on. The scale goes like this...
(Note Economic title at the beginning

Who gets enforced on the most.
1. Poor Black Male
2. Poor Hispanic Male
3. Middle Class Black Male
4. Middle Class Hispanic Male
5. Poor White Male
100....Rich White Male.

Almost.

50....Rich White Male

100...Rich White Female

The only thing I can think of was he was sagging. Not sure about Vegas or Nevada, but that's indecent exposure in GA. Either way I think the cop had already had a run in with them and doesn't like them plain and simple. They already knew who he was.

Nothing surprises me anymore.

The definition of pigs and really makes me never want to go to Vegas as I've heard police there are crooked as can be and quick to violence. How is a citizen supposed to have any respect for police these days?

This is what happens when you're white and you walk down the street in a black neighborhood."

I lived and worked, (and walked down the sidewalks), on the South Side of Chicago in an all black neighborhood. (I'm white by the way). Here is what happened to me.

1) When I jogged at night people would yell "Go Snow Cone" from their porches
2) A mugger stopped, asked me what I was doing there and then gave me some advice on how to avoid getting mugged.
3) I got stopped by cops a lot, offered a ride "home", told that I should be careful and that I was crazy for being there.
4)They forced me to learn how to play a card game called "bid whist"
4) I never had to buy a drink
5) I got invited to peoples homes for dinner a lot
6) I made a lot of friends.

Sometimes it's what you bring into these situations that determines what you'll find there.

Congratulations, you win the lucky white man lottery. Your prize is a one way bus ticket to Detroit where you will assist injured pedestrians.
Unfortunately even though you won the white man lottery you've only placed third in the "Ghettto's not dangerous" creative writing contest.

LOL I know a few neighborhoods that you can jog in at night and your results will not be duplicated.

Frankly, either that happened 30 or 40 years ago, or it's not the black neighborhoods I can show you.

Not going to say that post was BS...

Reasonable suspicion may lead to probable cause to question any person and a person has the right to not answer any questions during a field interview.

The cop must be able to articulate to a magistrate the reason for stopping a person in the first place or he could be held civilly accountable.

Most cops today are not going to get the training anywhere near what a lawyer would receive, and the people hired as cops are mostly pulled from the military.

Now couple that with the militarization taking place in most police departments, you have a "push comes to Shove" problem.

The proximate cause of this problem started with the gross increase in the level of violence in our cities.
Disenfranchised young blacks born out of wedlock grow up angry and not have been given discipline and guidance from a father figure become narcissistic adults.

This, I believe started during the Johnson administration with the "great Society Program" of the 1960's where young girls were told they would be supported by the government if they had children out of wedlock.

Today the results of that law is being felt by the victims of violent crime as well as the perpetrators.

We now have multiple generations lost and we still are digging ourselves in deeper as the laws are still enforced.

You may be confusing intelligence and evil.

Lets compare apples with apples.

Nazis were very strategically smart and equally evil.

The street hood is neither...They are just live for today thugs.

And if you send cops into a pigpen they may get dirty... Surprised?

Amen! I grew up during the "war on poverty". It was more like a war on poor blacks. "I will pay you to do nothing and remain poor".

The govt seems to not be able to grasp the concept of "positive incentives". They sure as hell grasp the concept of "let's throw money at the problem".

Actually you, perhaps, should read what I was replying to.

The remark was that "intelligent people will not take orders blindly" which is a load of hoohaa.

There have been too many studies done regarding what people will do. You can take smart people and put them in certain positions and they will commit acts of torture based on orders.

Clearly, both you and Abe should avoid the "ghetto". I don't think either of you would do well there.

Lipton, while I see the point you are trying to make... you may as well have said "She was dressed like a slut, so she deserved to get raped."

Because in all honesty, it's pretty much the same thing.
And I have to agree 100% with g146541 regarding this incident...

Racism...
Racism is dead folks, the happenings in this video happen to all colors of people.
Was Kelly Thomas beaten to death for the color of his skin?
Answer is no, he was murdered because we have a police problem.

It is ok though, as of late it seems others are noticing it too.
It won't be long until we reach critical mass on this problem though, then we will all be faced with the truth and how can we fix it.

You agree that racism is dead?

Come to where I live, the people need your insight.

I've been to Vegas. There's a black area downtown, where the locals told me, "don't go down that street, and don't go down that street". But around the casinos, there are virtually no black people. Is this why? Don't know.

LOL

For one thing, yes, I do avoid da ghetto when possible. Unfortunately I worked a HUD property for about 3 months and got to see "the ghetto" first hand. lol the police would not enter the property with less than 5 cars/officers and would wait outside (on a 911 call) until they had amassed sufficient force.

I feel bad for the children...they didn't deserve the parents they had.
