I am just watching the film " Sahara" starring Jim Belushi. It's a remake of the 1943 film of the same name which starred Humphrey Bogart.
The plot of the film is an American battle tank that gets lost in the desert after The Battle Of Tobruk.
The only problem with this film is a major one. The Americans where not at the Battle Of Tobruk. The same as with the film " U571" which depicts the capture of a Nazi Enigma Machine. It wasn't captured by The Americans at all.
What is it with American films and their love of twisting history?

The Fourth Kind had a huge impact on me. After watching this movie I started to look into the subject of alien abductions.
It caught my attention because I had one memory blackout back in 2005 and last year I woke up having razor-like cuts all over my upper-body, especially neck and shoulders.

Side Effects was pretty great either. But I'd rather see a movie like that focused more on BigPharma and their malice than solving a murder case the whole movie.

I haven't seen The Raven, I guess I'll give it a try.

Great list!

TOP 5:

1) What Dreams May Come
2) Bloodsport (you break my record... now i break you... like I break your friend)
3) The Pianist
4) Forest Gump
5) Super Troopers

These are in no particular order. top 5s are hard to do with movies because I feel like there are so many other movies which belong in my top 5. For instance, High Fidelity (kudos to anyone who gets why I mention this movie in particular).

But seriously, how can I ignore star wars, eternal sunshine of..., The Game, E.T., Jurasic Park, Big, Nightmare on Elm Street, Kill Bill (both), and the list can go on forever. Top 5s can be unfair sometimes. It was a struggle to put those 5 down at the top but they are movies I can never turn off if I see them on.

I actually watched it a few months ago because I hadn't watched it since I was a kid and I had a real urge to see it again. Great movie, it'd be cool if they made a sequel or modern version of that movie actually.

EDIT: what do you know, looks like there may be a remake in the works:
