R - Red
O - Orange
Y - Yellow
G - Green
B - Blue
I - Indigo
V - Violet

And those are?

The colors of a rainbow!!

Here are some pics that I just snapped around 7 Pm after a total of two tornado warnings today! There was a hell of a storm, but its all died out now, and the sun is shining bright with blue skies. I even managed to capture a double rainbow!

Enjoy!

Well if it works for a Rainbow that's Great, but technically, That's an acronym for all the major visible colors in the light spectrum.

Nice pics.

The reason it can work for rainbows is that these colors are derived from the light just as a prism would split the light due to the atmosphere acting as the prism. However not all rainbows will show all those colors and some are even black!

Imagine.. a black rainbow. www.abovetopsecret.com...

I once had a mnemonic for the first 20 elements on the periodic table.

That was cunning.

To know the spectrum and it's connection to the mainframe of the universe(all the other major laws of the world) through wisdom get's one on the right track, if one has a good mindset. If not it just makes you smarter at information.

Glorious photos though! ROYGBIV is wonderful

Well, I explained the meaning:

R - Red O - Orange Y - Yellow G - Green B - Blue I - Indigo V - Violet

Then I asked a quetion:

And those are?

Then I gave AN answer to that question.

The colors of a rainbow!!

I see your point of there being multiple answers to my question, but these ARE INDEED the colors of the rainbow, therefore I am not incorrect in saying so.
