Now.....I HAVE to agree with you on THAT one!

I joined the military during war time.

Bowe was a deserter.

As with any rescue a lot of effort is used initially, and quickly reduced when immediate results are not produced.

The men in Bowe's company were there fighting a war, they were not looking for a lost cub scout in a national park.

Searching for a deserter, and in doing so, if he was providing information to the Taliban, would imperil our troops.

why continue looking for someone when, as the evidence is collected and analyzed, it is discovered that he is a traitor and in all liklehood responsible for more accurate and deadly placement of mortar, IVBED's and ambushes.

The new national animal emblem for the POTUS is a skunk.
