super cool underwater experiment :)

I came across this video and I happen to think its very cool!

Someone should build a dye injector for uses in public and home aquariums with sponges in them. Really cool talking point I would think.

Hey nice post that is pretty cool I'd never even thought that sponges do that. Next time I'm diving I'm taking dye with me and searching for some sponges

As that may be true, I was thinking something more along a device that you installed at the base of the sponges. It could have a timer, so that it only squirted alittle bit maybe every 15 or 30 minutes. And maybe find a very soluble dye, that way it would quickly clear up and not muddle the water.

Think about it. Sponges are cool but they are definitely NOT the star of the show in any aquarium. Demonstrating this could bring more interest to an aquatic lifeform that has up to now, been mostly looked over.

Im always looking for new business venture. I recently just had one squashed apon finding out that someone else already had idea for a product and was much further along than I am. This could be cool. hmmmm...... If I decide to move forward with it, maybe I'll make a thread detailing my experience. Time to start figuring out the logistics.
