No I am just interested in something that I never bothered to watch. Of course, I have watched the entire series. I am going to buy the books. Trying to decide on books, or Audio books. Why, is there something that I should know? ~$heopleNation

It wasn't the Hound, it was Beric Dondarrion.

What wasn't the Hound? And what was Beric Dondarrion? I was just discussing what another brought up, if The Hound really died or not. Discussions tend to sway on a subject such as this. Seems like a misunderstanding. ~$heopleNation

Sorry, it should have read 'not the Hound's brother (The Mountain)' who kept dying in the stories. It was Beric Dondarrion who kept dying and was resurrected.

It is not made clear by he end of the 5th book whether The Hound is dead or not but there is some speculation he may be alive.

appologies - that was snarky

buy the books - there are some major plot differences to the series

but the books are IMHO far superior

as for the death - or not of sandor clegane - my interpretation of the book left me in no doubt

It would have been better if his head was crushed by a Mountain.

Bruce Willis was dead the whole time, so don't worry.

Yeah it is torture. Just write Drogo back into the story and it will be well worth the wait. ~$heopleNation

I guess in real life, he's the most carefree and nicest person, according to all of his fellow actors and directors, etc. He's actually received several death threats for his acting performance in this series. Kinda crazy, and well, scary, to be honest, but it's also pretty impressive that his acting skills would cause such reaction from people. To me, that's the sign of an amazing actor... however, I think I would prefer a much less lethal form.
