So does McNasties and other stores like it break the law by refusing service to people with no shirt or shoes ? Do malls across the country break the law by refusing to let in people with baggy clothes or hats on backwards or revealing clothes ? If so, why are you not pitching a fit about that ? Because homosexuals are not involved.
Funny that people that speak out against homosexuality now are labelled "bullies" and can be arrested yet people can speak out openly against Christians all day long. HHHMMM, I'm seeing a double standard here

Christians rule and kill and murder and massacre and burn and dictate and control for a few thousand years - I think they can all just stfu and deal for a little while.

The filthy, vile and disgusting manner that religion and it's followers subscribe to is testament to their and it's nature and I think the rest of us should be ashamed for allowing it to go on for as long as it has.

Bloody dog wedding cake. They're only asking for trouble - is that what Jesus would have done?

i has an evil mastermind plan to save the world. (mwahaha)
since the gov likes to give us the exact opposite of what we ask for, and since they get such joy from watching us freak out and panic and gripe, i say we freak out and panic and gripe about things we do like, so they will actually make them happen to spite us.

My friend, you got it all wrong.

They don't break the law by requesting customers to wear descent cloths, BUT - if they get selective and decided no black, christian, Muslim or Hispanic not allowed, or in this case, homosexuals - that is different story...

You can't discriminate like that, and any reasonable person should put their belief aside and be human and act as human, not like some religious or discriminatory nut...

Cake baker got what he deserves, and I really hope he questions his belief, as it is just against all rules to threat people like that. You call it religion - I call it absence of moral and humanity.

Yes it is what Jesus would have done. Have you not hear the story from the New Testament about Jesus and the money changers ? I am sorry you have the ill informed opinion of Christianity but it is in fact that. Look throughout history at the evil done in the name of Christianity and it was all by the Roman Catholic Church or other fundamental fanatics. Look at the peace and loving from the billions of other Christians before you lump us all into one category.

I will disagree with you on this one my friend. The no baggy clothes or hats on backwards is a profiling of gang affiliated young black males and hispanic males. Complete profiling and discrimination. I guess by your logic they are saying black and hispanic gang members can enter but you cannot dress like it.

I see that you are Jesus' chosen spokesperson on Earth, then. By the way, you wouldn't have a religion to suck up to if it wasn't for all the horrendous things it did throughout it's history so either take some responsibility for it or become a buddhist.

Unlike this baker and most of these so-called christians, the Jesus I learned about from the bible wasn't a total dick and if he supports dog weddings but not same-sex weddings he doesn't deserve any sort of worship whatsoever except from complete idiots...oh...wait a minute...

This is retarded, and I actually agree with the Christian above me. Anyone can refuse service. This is iwannabespecialism run riot. It's like saying "don't judge me for who I am, no wait, look at me, then don't judge me."

Seriously, has it ever occurred to them to go to different baker? No! They Want to be acknowledged as the special snowflakes they are. In fact they want everyone to acknowledge their awesomeness, and if you don't, they will make you act according to their standards. Your belief is not as important as theirs. It's intolerance of intolerance, and very hypocritical.

Be progressive, or else!

So I'm an idiot ? Such hatred!
Nobody said anything about Jesus supporting a dog wedding but where is the problem with a dog wedding ? It's for show by extreme dog lovers and is in no kind of way a violation of anything in the Bible, the owners know completely that it is a fictional wedding and just for show. Now if the dog were marrying a human then that would be a different story.
This is just another case of government control. They now are telling us we are not allowed to think as Christians. SMH.....

ooh you are asking for a whoppin' from the lawd. eek, holding back my feminist rant before i remind you that the most picked on, prejudiced against, demeaned, derided, brutalized, murdered and raped are women and we by far trump the lot of any special interest groups moans and groans, on the planet, ever and yet, it was a gay guy who took a woman's job. we ladies still rank somewhere below the family dog and gay guys, apparently.

Funny that you put it this way because Christianity proclaims homosexuality the absence of morality and humanity. Again the hypocricy of some people knows no bounds.

Nah, that is easy to test, just get those cloths and test if they will let you in.

I am sure you will find it that no matter color of your skin, your ethnicity or sexual orientation, you will end up being showed closest exist or in case objection, you would be escorted out.

If that would not happen, I would agree with you that they are profiling and would not care if they get sued and forced to serve everyone the same.

Only hypocrisy here is telling that we are all god's children and to threat everyone the same - and than decide to discriminate someone because of sexual orientation, or any other way...

The guy broke the law. It's very plain, simple and direct. Some of the loudest voices here are continually screeching about State's Rights, and yet, the People of Colorado passed these laws, and now, you want to abridge them.

Think about for a minute. Think about the ludicrosity of your position.

The guy broke NO LAW!!

He committed no crime. Refusing to bake a cake is not a hate crime.

Hot damn I LOATHE people like you, wanting to cram your PC bullshizt down everyone elses throats.

It's sad actually. A person like you will never even know the meaning of the word freedom.

Freedom includes the right to offend and the right to be offended, the right to live how you want and die how you want. Stop trying to save everyone from themselves and get our there and live your own life already!

It's not hate - it's contempt.

It's been said in this thread recently that unless you want to live in Somalia without any laws, you have to accept that at some stage a government might just try to make things a little bit more equal - even in a country with as many bat sht crazy religious nutters as Afghanistan - I mean the USA.

so let's all become progressives. they will be crapping themselves to figure out how to make us all back into a divided camp that they can then blame certain portions for their own screw ups. i'm a gay progressive! (that's not true of course, but you get the idea! )

The law used to say blacks and whites couldn't mix socially - I think you know the details.

Are you really going to cling to the argument that just because a law wasn't broken it wasn't wrong?

christians also put out your house fire, pave your roads, fix your boo-boos, operate on you when you need surgery, pay taxes, give to charity, mow your yard, respond to emergencies, work in stores you buy items from, and so on. want to tell them all, to their faces that you think they are immoral assholes ?

you, my friend, are missing the point entirely. i know what you mean, i still can't get over that he made a cake for a dog wedding and then flipped his lid over a cake (wasn't a real wedding cake since they weren't really getting married), but i think you have crossed the line into woo woo territory now. you are losing moderate christians support by the bucketloads.

that is not good politics.
