Palestinians swear in unity government ..Go Palestine, way to take positive steps to peace and prosperity. I can hear Israel whining already.

RAMALLAH - Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas swore in a unity government on Monday after overcoming a last-minute dispute with the Hamas Islamist group. Hamas' Ismail Haniyeh welcomes the 'historic step'; Abbas says new government will fight any Israeli punitive measures against the PA.

Well that didn't take long .. Typical Israeli Whining about terrorists..Pot calling the Kettle Black

Netanyahu says world governments shouldn't recognize Palestinian government (Newsdaily) World governments should not rush to approve the new Palestinian government, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned Sunday after the Palestinians accused Israel of looking to punish them over a unity deal. "I call on all responsible elements within the international community not to hurry to recognise the Palestinian government that Hamas is part of, and which relies on Hamas," Netanyahu told ministers at the weekly cabinet meeting, saying it would "strengthen terror".

And the Palestinians would be right it wouldn't be the first time Israel punished Palestine for doing things that would benefit their government. Just look at what happened when Palestine applied for membership at the UN Israel walked away from the peace table and announced they were building more settlements.

Bennett: Annexation of Area C is the best response to Fatah-Hamas government

Israel should annex Area C of the West Bank in response to Monday’s swearing in ceremony of a unified Fatah-Hamas government made up of “terrorists in suits,” Economic Affairs Minister Naftali Bennett said. “The sovereignty program that I proposed is the only available option today, to the Palestinian rejection of peace [with Israel] and to the refusal of the [Israeli] left this solution,” Bennett said.

Israel wants to keep the Palestinians divided and weak, which obviously gives the lie to their professions of wanting peace.

Till Hamas takes the steps of officially recognizing Israel and it's right to peacefully live as a Jewish State, they are not a partner for the peace process. As long as Hamas's Charter calls for the Destruction of Israel and the Liberation of ALL of Palestine ie; that means Israel, they can NOT be a partner for peace.

Why should Israel negotiate with a Group that plainly still states that it wants to destroy Israel?

Let's here from the Hamas apologists here......why is Hamas a good partner for peace and why should Israel negotiate with them while their Charter still calls for the destruction of Israel.

Hamas Charter

Israel is already punishing Palestine. Have you seen the conditions there and the daily stories of apartheid and segregation and mistreatment from all levels of Israel from the settlers to the soldiers to all levels of government. Its the Israeli Government that actually causes the most terrorism. When you treat someone so badly, it's going to come back at you. Not advocating violence, I'm just saying that you stop violence by treating the other person with dignity. That's how you stop it.

Hamas don't care about everyday Palestinians, all Hamas care about is killing Jews & it's the first time I've really agreed with Mr.Netanyahu about anything!!!

Hamas are a danger to Palestine & Israel as seperate states or unified...
An equal danger to IDF soldiers!!!

Get rid of Hamas & IDF and all would be well between the two!!!

Peace everybody!!!
