Come work for the VA!

Any one else find it funny that there is ads to go work for the VA on ATS?
I am sure they don't chose specifically what ad's get shown, just find it funny that it is there

Not sure what you are referring to as far as 'ads'. I don't pay much attention to ads on websites.

I know Eric whatshisname resigned today......I don't want his job. If you work for Obama you're screwed.

I've applied for that position already. Hope they don't have Holder look into my voting record. That could nix my chances for the BIG VA Bucks...

ATS uses an targeted ad system. It takes cookies from your pc, from sites you visit and searches, then serves up relevant ads.

Im not sure if all ads hosted here are targeted ones, but i know a lot of them are.

Can you do a better job Destiny. Get those vets the medical attention they need? Lots of states, lots of work. That is unless everyone is still flinging political mud and barfing sarcasm while veterans go untreated.

I take home made food to disabled Vets in my area....I give money to those I run into while in town who are panhandling.

Check with your local Churches, they will give you a list of things they need for Vets. I buy all the used reading glasses I can find at thrift stores, as a lot of them need reading glasses. Those are on the list, as are books, toothbrushes...basic self care things. There are also lists of area Vets who are house bound and in need of meals on wheels. Kinda like a big brother or sister. Pick one out, invite them to your home for meals on holidays.

I was a student up till recently. Not in the medicine field.

Awww...Sweet Pea. We must have had a misunderstanding. Sorry about that. At my ripe old age, no government agency is going to hire me. I work for myself. Plus, my old hippy daze record of actively participating in peace marches, would be a black mark against me.

I do what I can in my own little area. Plus sign petitions and continue to vote, though don't know if my vote really counts any more.
