I don't care what it is that is speading out across the sky..... I want natural blue sky.

Regardless..... all that extra clouding cannot be good for the planet.... it is not natural.

This is true and there are concerns about the effects on the climate

Aviation makes a significant contribution to anthropogenic climate forcing. The impacts arise from emissions of greenhouse gases, aerosols and nitrogen oxides, and from changes in cloudiness in the upper troposphere. An important but poorly understood component of this forcing is caused by ‘contrail cirrus’—a type of cloud that consist of young line-shaped contrails and the older irregularly shaped contrails that arise from them.

www.nature.com...

Denying the existence of persistent contrails doesn't help though

You are quite correct, of course. But it is not chemtrails.

Trails that spread across the sky.... I care not what they are being named.

You for one

I get up and the sky is clear blue and then the slim streaks appear that spread out all across the sky and leave the sky overcast.

I see it with my own eyes..... that is evidence to me.

Condensation vapors should not do that.

And I said PERSISTENT contrails

Yes, but they are persistent contrails, not sprayed chemicals. Why don't you care about the difference?

So yes they are a problem, beyond the one of aesthetics, but there is absolutely no reason to believe that they are anything other than persistent contrails and an unintended consequence of air travel

Contrails are man made clouds. So the man made part does make them un-natural. But unless you have an alternative to powered flight, it's something you will have to deal with. And with population increasing, expect more of it.

Because either way.. they are messing with the climate and ruining the clear blue skies that would be visible if they did not exist.

What if it is found that the 'man made clouds' are warming the planet?

Aren't there scientists trying to combat global warming?

They do

They are

What if it were found that man made CO2 emissions were warming the planet? Oh, hang on a minute.....

Yeah.... we are not discussing C02.
We are discussing the blanket of cloud/spread out vapor trails.

I know. At least we don't seem to be discussing "chemtrails" any more.

There were some studies done when planes were grounded after 9/11. here is an article about it:

That article makes it sound like the scientists don't know a lot!!

With little data to go on due to the time frame seems that they just can't agree.

And with all the dust that had been dumped into the air on 9/11... that would not have helped.

i would thought that would be pretty negligible and would have zero affect on world climate.

Not on world climate but on the 3 day studies in New York.
