I've tried beer a few times in my life, I doubt that I'll ever drink it on a regular basis though, even after I hit 21. I've had too many bad experiences with people that were drunk before. As for weed, I've tried it a few times but will never smoke it again. I've seen what regular marijuana smoking has done to friends of mine and refuse to let that happen to myself.

I hate cigarettes, I watched my mother die from lung cancer caused largely from smoking cigarettes. I believe that it's a personal choice as to whether or not to smoke, but I'll never touch a cigarette as long as I live.

No disappointment, good for you Ocelot. Some of us are hard headed and just seem to have to learn things the hard way. You make a very wise decision by staying away from drugs, you are much better off without them!

After I left school I started experimenting with weed, nothing serious weekends and stuff. I was an athelete (MTB), as well as an outdoors guide. I was involved in a very horrific accident that killed 14 of my peers. After that I became involved more and more in drugs an alcohol. I've treid just about everthing, except injecting, herion, pcb and other very dangerous drugs with the exception of datura. This had a detrimental effects on by life not mentally or physically, but in other ways I cant really explain.
To this day I still smoke weed, drink and occasionally experiment socially with substances.
All I want to say is, from the experiences I've had, what I seen it do to people that I know, etc is the use of any drug weather apparent to the user or not, is purely to mask a problem. "I smoke weed because I want to, not because I need to" I know this is a lie. But I will not judge someone for any choice that they make. These are mine. If you have not done drugs and wish to experiment, think about it and do the research so you know what you are getting yourself into. Dont, and its easy to say, but dont succome to peer pressure, Illmantic is right when he says he is not weak, we dont need these substances, life is possible without them. But after using them (especially for a while, as I) it is harder to convince yourself of this.

Besides from that I can say that I do enjoy them (drugs & alcohol) and life.

Just beware of the trap and the reasons (real) that you may be using for.

Don't smoke or drink anymore, I inherited my fathers bad temper, it wouldn't be a good idea...

I dont smoke because i see it as pointless... and very un-healthy.

I dont drink because i dont like the taste. I havnt reached 18 yet... but that doesnt stop half the population of teenagers from drinking in england. When i reach 18, im sure ill have a few drinks here and there... but i wont do it JUST to get drunk. Drinking just to get drunk IS weak.

I love Chinese green tea

I stopped cigarette 5 months ago. I smoked for 3 or 4 years. I still smokes pot occasionnaly, I don't see why that should change. I drink too, but not as much as I used too when I was a younger.

"Once I tried to quit smoking. Than I said my self: Hey, I'm not a quitter" - Woody Harelson

Implying that smoking or drinking is for the weak was realy pathetic. Look back in history fool.

I drink Golden Grain Old KY Grain alchohol. 190 proof. That'll put hairs on your chest...and then light them on fire!

I have smoked weed in the past but rarely do it now only at music festivals really but not a lot - it makes me tired. I drink though I love wine and STELLA.

I only drink for two reasons.

1. So I don't look like a wuss when out with clients or coworkers (and then it's only a couple of drinks).

and

2. Holidays, I might have a good mixed drink...(I simply loathe the taste of alchohol). Oddly enough though, my favorite mixed drinks have a ton of alchohol in them, you just don't taste it as much.

Strangely, I have some kind of weird tolerance to drugs and alchohol. I can drink quite a bit before feeling it, and I tried weed twice in High School, both times it never had an effect (though it did on the others)....so it was like, why bother? I usually have to take a higher dosage whenever I require medication as well (which thankfully, is rarely....them damn things are expensive!)

JC, I love green tea too. Next week I am going to try infusing it with weed to see what it does.

And astro, please send me this 80% whiskey stuff, I need the hairs on my chest

I drink not to get drunk, but for that feeling, right after a few glasses of liquor that makes you feel so empowered and mellow
MMMMMMMMM..... I dont do it that much because at my age, it really screws up memory.

As for cigarettes, I only will have one of my friends' about once a week. I dont really like them that much.

And I can tell you in one week what I think of weed

Do you plan on experimenting with weed?

I think it's a bad idea. Make sure you think of the consequences before you do. I'm not saying trying it once will hurt you or make you an addict. But what if you really like it? I smoked for a long time, and I wished I never tried it to begin with. If you never try it, then you dont know what you're missing. On the other hand, after you have tried it, if you enjoy it you might want to continue with it and its not a good habit, especially for someone your age.

It cannot turn in to that big of a habit for me, just recreation in the summer. There is a drug test at my school and should I do it during school I would be expelled
Right after scool ends however, I am going to get some from my friends and try it.

I have researched it greatly (enough to convince UP that drug legalization was good
Link) and I think that weed is better, much better for me than tobacco.

According to my mom, my dad couldnt handle pot, but she could so I have both genes going for me
I'll get back to you in a week.

Alright I said I'd get back to you and I am doing that now. I wanted to try weed so me and a friend got some and had two joints together. For the first half hour or so it was good. I liked the feeling and all but after we had finished the second j I got really dizzy and had to sit down in a chair. Then everything started spinning and I felt like I was on an unending roller coaster and I had the nausea to go with it. I felt like I was being pulled... somewhere but I wasnt sure where. I was turning and spinning and my head had no choice but to follow my mental movements. The only position I was comfortable in was hunched over, when I was like that I could concentrate. I ended up vomiting several times (I was able to find a toilet) but now I am perfectly fine.

I still keep my stand on marijuana and other drugs (they should be legalized) and will be attempting to try it again when I dont get nauseaus at the thought of it
.
