I understand that viewpoint perfectly. You're referring to your body being a temple, right?

Pretty much everything you do is breaking down your body. Breathing in the air hurts your lungs, as there are pollutants that you breathe in all the time. Eating food releases free radicals into your body, breaking it down (which is why people who eat less food are supposed to live longer lives). Your "temple" is going to be abused no matter what...if you splurge for that ice cream sundae, you are knowingly eating something that might be "bad for you", but yet you eat it because you know it will taste good. This is the same thing..

I know these things are harmful to my body, but I only have myself to answer to. I have no God that imposes rules on my behavior.

All the choices I make are my own and God is never a factor in the equation.

I smoke cigs, gave up weed recently becaouse I didnt like what it was turning me into.

As for Alcohol, I can take it or leave it, it has no power over me at all.

i do it all(by all i mean cigs weed and liquor)

I'm not afraid to answer. Yes, I smoke weed but do not drink. I have had very bad experiences drinking and I found out that weed, for me at least, has the complete opposite effect.

Nope don't smoke (anything) or drink (hard liquor)... I will have a glass of
wine, on occasion, but that's rare!

I used to smoke (both weed and cigs) is highschool/college socially. Kind of grew out of it around 20. I used to have a boarder line drinking problem when I was young, not so much in how often I drank, but when I did I would drink a lot.

One time myself and 6 friends killed a keg in a day. I don't remember much from that Mardi Gras, save waking up in the back of a pick up truck that belonged to no one I knew, with a girl I had never met...

Good times.

Anyways, I kind of got over the idea of getting "blackout" drunk during college, and moved on to drinking smaller amounts of quality alcohol.

Give me some Walker black on the rocks, some MacAllan, a nice micro brew, or a glass of Cabernet (yes, I even enjoy a Bordeaux once in a while, despit it's nation of origin).

i smoke about 4 times a mounth. i think drugs eliminate the barriers that society has caused you to put around youself. but what i don't get is how come this thread is legal and mine wasn't; i tried to do the excat same thing to find out how many people smoked marijuana on this website and i got in trouble for it.

marijuana is the only girl for me. she has opened my eyes to the world around me and actually increased performance throughout all aspects of my life.

Alcohol can be a terrible thing, but used accordingly can be a good time.

when weed is avalible and free i smoke
when cigerettes are avalible and free i smoke them

what i really dont like to hear is people who have never really drank,
trying to tell others drinking isnt good.

or smoking isnt good ( it isnt tho lol)

the point im maknig is people dont drink to damage there liver, they dont smoke to get cancer, the dont do other drugs to od or get sick

they do these things to get high

Well im from Northern Ireland - nuff said really.

I don't smoke, its a filthy habit, but I do drink.
A typical nights drinking would consist of about a bottle of jack d over ice.
I also like a bit of cider now and again when ive a thirst to kill and not just my liver.

I smoke Cigs, I work in a bar and drink too much - I have also done other stuff.

I like to experiment...
