I came across this video/ Pictorial during my morning news fix.
It stuck in my mind all day long because of the straight up graphics and the affect this footage had on me was a mixed bag.
First is was sorrow, then amazement , followed by anger at the establishment for promoting and pushing all these wars.

My Father and his brother both served in WW2 and neither were right in the head after they came home.
I just thought this was worthy of a thread be it how small.

Even if your don't want to comment, the show is very good and very graphic to me with my imagination.
One look at a tank with the treads blown off you can almost see it in colour the explosions and death.

Thanks for looking and hopefully watching the video.

Regards, Iwinder

Great vid.

What I take away from this is that we can do whatever we want to nature but she'll always have the last say.

This is evident in the trees taking over the artifacts, the water rusting out the machines, the sand and wind slowly erasing all traces of what it finds repugnant.

Thanks.

Peace

Well said Jude yes for sure time takes everything away, makes me think of how fast Chernobyl and the surrounding area is being eaten by Mother Nature!

Thanks for your input and wisdom.

Hi Iwinder.

I grabbed a few stills from the vid to add to the thread.

Time! is what comes to mind for me.
And those bones, I wonder if they were able to find the relatives?

War is a curse and its about time the human race grew up.

Great find. Thank you for posting this. I have several family in the military. At least one that served in the Second World War.
I'm sharing this with as many as I can.

That's a rather heartrending yet informative video. Something worth considering, the next world war we initiate as a species most lightly won't leave any of these remarkable yet thought provoking items or images around for our descendants to ponder.
