What's the calibre? Wouldn't mind one of those in my pocket. Not that I'd ever think of doin' that... Nope. Not me. Law abiding sheep, that's me...

I love stainless.

Those are cool but I will take a set of any of the Louder Than Words crew and especially CT Brian's customs any day over any other pistol out there.

what about:

A large breasted woman firing a WWII machine gun, cooking bacon on the heated barrel? I don't think i could top that for a visual.

Rude surprise to that would be mugger. Not to mention painful.

Image is one thing--- but if I really did shell out 8 grand for this pair.
I'd have them framed and mounted, hung on a wall, afraid to get them dirty or scratched.

My SIG will still live on my hip, get tossed in the mud, rained on, showed on, spend months bouncing around in my pickup. wiped clean with a tattered old tee shirt then re-holstered and well loved like that old friend she is.

These are just for looking at--- Bragging about--- Maybe someone in a higher income bracket would see em as a working pair of pistols--- not me--- but I still want em--- just don't want to have to pay for em.

I agree fully. My Sig P226 has been an old reliable friend over the years and wouldn't trade it for anything.

Sometimes I don't carry the P226 but that's only when I carry the smaller P239.

Cabot American Joe

Cabot makes some of the finest 1911s on the market, and their pistols are favorites among competition shooters. This year, Cabot is introducing a series of matched left- and right-handed 1911s with various themes, such as the “American Joe” set with American flag grips. But these pistols aren’t just a gimmick, they’re extremely well built.
Now I just got to figure out how to get my hands on 8 grand without my wife knowing ???

Thats four Les Baer premier II's, I can attest they are the most accurate, and tighter than.... well you know how tight thats is. Incredible quality. Not flashy just good stuff. Now my race gun on the other hand, very flashy. IPSC shooting the most fun you can have with your clothes on.

.38-40? My grandpa had a revolver in that, way back in the day, dated back to his days as a deputy in Wyoming before the turn of the century...

That might be kinda cool to have. A connection to that past. Wonder which cousin has it...? Must remember to inquire.

While we are all being male chauvinistic animals: should she also be ironing with the other hand?

Or perhaps applying battle lipstick?

Colt, 1851, Navy Revolver.

(I wanna be a cowboy, bay-bee!)

ETA; trying to convince my wife why I need to spend 1,500.00 on it.

Been having an ongoing conversation with the wife on joining SASS, love cowboy shooting, if I was younger it would be on horseback. Just the get the wife involved every woman loves dress up. The only problem then might be she would want Navy Revolver or two.

I'd have to get the right holster, duster, boots and hat to with it.

HardCorps...

Those are... well they are a little gaudy are they not? That hardly strikes me as a particularly functional colour scheme. I would have thought that matt black with chrome detailing would be more appropriate?

Just go to SASS (Single Action Shooting Society) and read the rules, thats part of it, you have to wear period clothing, shoot periods guns, and have a kick ass load of fun. They are some of the nicest people you could meet. You would be surprised at the diverse group of shooters they are.

Let us know how it goes....

So would your handle be:

Beezer Bandit, and Badlands Betty
Badlands Beezer, and Ma Beezer

I think ATS should be involved in selecting your handle. Have some serious fun for me too.
