A quick link to a Vimeo video a friend passed along via e-mail. This is about three and a half minutes long. It's time-lapsed and hi-def. Good background musical score suitable for any work environment. I hope you'll enjoy it as much as I did.

Video Description:

"Slow" marine animals show their secret life under high magnification. Corals and sponges are very mobile creatures, but their motion is only detectable at different time scales compared to ours and requires time lapses to be seen. These animals build coral reefs and play crucial roles in the biosphere, yet we know almost nothing about their daily lives.

Slow Life? I am so jealous!

Time lapse photography is endlessly fascinating, and this footage of the Great Barrier Reefs is quite spectacular. Daniel Stoupin did (and has) a great job!
