Nope, not my sister. It is my niece who is going to have the baby. Little Cody is actually my great nephew.

Oh...sorry about the alien thread thing,. I haven't seen it yet. Don't worry, we all make mistakes. I have made my own in the past. LOL

Night Syx! Sweet dragon dreams. LOVING the new avatar!

Good day everyone!

So, what's the gossip? Is everyone well today?

Hi All,

Just a quick "check in" LOL

Had a FANTASTIC weekend.
The "Master Blenders" tour of Glengoyne distillery was awesome!
I have now crafted my own blended Whisky which I've called "DribbleDrop!" Available in the very limited production run of ONE 100ml bottle. Must be worth a fortune??? No??? LOL

Had dinner OUT with friends over on Mysterious island on Saturday night, and again - it was just fantastic!
Haggis Fritters for starters, then a Beef Steak Forestierre (casserole type thing) on a bed of half-jacket cheesey potato and mixed fresh roast veg, with Home-made Chocolate & Peanut Butter Cheesecake to finish.
Washed down with Birra Peroni and some nice red vino!! I am stuffed just thinking about it!
Will definitely go there again!

Ohhhhhhh - If Cody is around..... I found a BRILLIANT tiny wee cafe in Glasgow's west end (called "ROAST") who do an amazing Pulled Pork!!

Loving the story additions AND the photos everyone!!
What a handsome bunch we are!!! LOL

Hi True, Hi Night! How ya's doin?

Found out a short while ago a friend of mine from back home, took a bad spill on his MotorCycle last night around 10:00. He's in critical condition in the ICU at the hospital now..... a Guy Named Rick Gill...... It happened about 5 miles from the house I grew up in......
I don't know any more than that right now.

I never liked motorcycles, too dangerous and sooooo friggin LOUD! My Ex saw a guy get decapitated while riding and flying off his bike. Forgot all the details of how exactly that happened but good. Sorry to hear your friend had such a bad accident and hope he pulls through. Will pray for him and send positive vibes!!!

Thanx for the Prayers and Positive Vibes Night! I'm sure He can use all he can get right now.
Early in our Relationship, man, 20 some odd yrs ago, CC told me NO to a Bike. I didn't push the issue as I was a drinker and probably wouldn't be here today if I had gotten one back then. But now, I'm more settled down, as far as the drinkin' goes, but cannot afford one! Go figure, Right? LOL!!! Like I always say, Alas, such is life...... LOL!!!

Think I'll use this BackGround for a while. It has me above the trees of the Shed forest, with the mountains behind!
Oh, but we are on an island...Hmm, have to find one for that!

Edit: My BackGround can be for Both!Who's to say it isn't that I'm over the Island?

Finally got my appointment with the blood specialist for next Thursday.
I don't want to go. I don't know what they will find. I have a history of elevated white blood cell counts. Who wants to hold my hand? I'm as vulnerable as a little kid right now. Scared and worry. I know that doesn't help me one bit, but I run on emotions and not rationalization. I want to hold a sign up saying: Hell No I Won't Go!
Ok, Ok, I'll go.

I wish I could just be left alone and not have to worry all the time and be so scared all the time. It's a hell of a way to live. I took myself off my depression pill. No matter what I try, I end up feeling like a zombie and just zoning out. Still on the anxiety med though. Desperately need those!!

I should feel better tomorrow for a while though going out to lunch and shopping with Linda, my best friend. I can start my baby shopping.

OH...Poor Stephanie, my niece panicked today because she is 12 weeks pregnant and was bleeding. Went to the Doctor's with her and we did hear the babies heartbeat. She is not out of the woods yet, but things seem ok for now.

K...time to flit poof.

No night shift tonight??

Found some volunteers for the night shift.

Looks like we'll be safe, so sleep easy my beautiful family.

Good Morning, to anyone here.

Night have fun today shopping!
I do hope Stephanie will be ok.

Gordi awoke to a gorgeous sunrise, and a mouthful of sand, on the most beautiful Haitian beach he had ever seen.
Unfortunately he also appeared to be sporting the most horrendous hangover, in the long history of mans many follies with the demon drink!

...Now I know why it's called "NAGA" with a Dragons bite! I'm gonna kill True when I find him! TRUE!!! TRUE!!! Where are ya bud?"

But, no one else was in sight.

So, he slowly struggled to his feet, noted the bright Pink boxer shorts that now served as his only blush-savers, and tried to bring his eyes into focus...
"Where is everyone?" he mused..

Gradually, his head cleared and his eyes came to focus on the scene before him.
It looked for all the world like a huge tornado had ripped through their gathering place.
Empty bottles, clothing and the remnants of party food lay all around the lovely beach.
The map, stones and all of his shed family had gone.
He felt utterly alone.

A tear came to his eye, and his head slumped down to his chest. Staring at the warm sand - he started to make out a familiar shape...
it was footprints! Heading off into the nearby woods.

The problem was.... they were NOT all HUMAN!

Some of the prints seemed to be human-like but MUCH smaller.
Some were like birds - crows maybe? and the others were larger - a Huge pawprint like a bear and a horse-like hoof?
It was hard to make them out clearly in the warm sand.

OK, decision time... to follow the prints into the woods, or head back to the sea?

A quick scan of the horizon showed no signs of life, so the decision was taken quickly - to follow the trail!

Gordi gathered up the few scraps of food and drink that were left and packed them away for the journey, checked all of his kit - his tools and weapons,
then took a quick bearing off the rising sun and set off into the woods.

The trail weaved its way through the undergrowth, past creaking & swaying old palm trees and giant shimmering grey boulders.
The sunlight fluttered and sparkled as the shadows of the foliage danced in the breeze, and a myriad of birds, insects and tiny lizards came fleetingly into view, before darting for cover or taking flight.
The calm shade of the forest felt cool and comforting as the journey unfolded before him.

As Gordi pressed on, he cast his mind back to the "Treasure" map and the dragonstone, and all of the strange things that had happened on this long and dark journey, and it hit him like a sledgehammer... He missed the Rainbow Shed.
He missed sitting by the glow of the great fireplace in the kitchen swapping stories, he missed Sporky and Tommy Boy and the horde of other animals there, but most of all - he missed his shed family who were scattered now, and he vowed in his mind to find them all, each and every one, and to unite them once more.

Suddenly he looked up to see a vast clearing opening up before him. There was a crystal-clear waterfall and a bank of long green grass or rushes following the meanderings of a small stream off into the distance.
The sun was getting high in the sky now, and he reckoned that it must be close to midday, when he thought he could hear a voice off in the distance...

Great job Gordi!

You have a gift for suspense! Oh, you have mail by the way matey!

Hi everyone else! I hope everyone is well, and feeling in good spirits! If not, then vast hugs all round. Screw it, vast hugs anyway!

I have a driving lesson tomorrow, and then I need to go Bloodstock shopping. Thankfully, I have my last good equipment checklist that worked, already drawn up from last year, so I can just follow the requisition list from last year for tomorrow's adventures in consumerism! The joy... The unfettered joy *spits expansively*. Still, it is for a good cause I suppose
