I just got back from work. During the last five minutes, it was rather a mixed bag of highs and lows. I totted up the days figures, and it turns out that we did better today than I thought. Not amazingly well, but better than I thought by a significant margin. That was good.

***REALLY, REALLY, TOTALLY BLOODY AWFUL NEWS ALERT***

What was not good, not even a little bit good, one might go so far as to say utterly CRAP, was finding out that Rik Mayall, of Bottom, and The Young Ones fame, has died aged 56.

That little bit of news has somewhat taken the wind from my sails.

Course, it does not hurt that she has a similar taste in music to mine! Yes, the blonde one in the red jumpsuit is former Arch Enemy vocalist Angela Gossow! And yes, she really can growl like a six foot, barrel chested death metal fan boy. Sends shivers down my spine

I have to admit True, that woman doesn't impress me, anyone one can growl. But that's all personal taste when ya boil it down, so I'm cool. Always been a fan of Pat Benatar myself. Partially for the looks but mostly for the music. (OK, yea I thought she was a cutie with a great voice to boot))

Looks like the Shed 2 is dying off in favor of the weekend Gathering thread.

Feeling morose and a lot of blah currently. It's going to be a long month if this keeps up. Weather isn't helping either with lots of sporadic rain but no real storms.

You take care, and the rest of y'all as well. I'm going to take a break from ATS for a bit. I think that it is needed, like that three day fast that is recommended.

Everyone I know locally is out of the state at the moment on business or vacy and to use the California scientific term..."I'm bummed out dude."

I think it's time to go out and try to find something to keep me occupied.
