Lots of kid-care here, and wishing I could somehow make the world a better place for them to live in. I can do only so much, and then there it is: The World. Love, care, education, healthy food and hopefully some stability/security, a sense of their spirituality and encouragement of creativity...hopefully instilling a love of learning and creativity in my youngest, and courage in my eldest to keep trying to communicate (autism - non-verbal). I'm hoping for a lot more than that of course, for both of them, but the list is long and complex, so I'm keeping it manageable.

Anyway. Sending you all (((HUGS))).

Hey AB! Good for you doing what you do!

I will be heading down that road myself real soon helping my sister and her daughter/grandkids, one of which is autistic and I must say that I am more nervous than going into combat.

Any advice? I'm scared as hell that I'll do something wrong.

Well, next time he insists upon staying up and pecking at the keyboard to all hours of the night, just post that photo above the monitor.

My ex did this from time to time, so when she wouldn't hit the hay for the next day, I would just cut the power to the house. That knocks 'em off line everytime.
