I've had a lot of cats in my life, and this one is just plain weird.
As soon as the laptop is open on my lap, she climbs on me and wraps her paws around my right wrist...pulls my hand over her head, and purrs and drools.
Makes typing kinda difficult.

How are you today? Syx!! You still here, or did you face-plant the keyboard again?

True, My first wife, from my 2 year practice marriage, and I, had 4 Black Cats! They were pretty awesome, until you made one of them mad. Then you had to contend with ALL 4 doing, some not so silly things!! LOL!!

Syx Flags...hahaha...you have an amusement park named after you!

Mine would be jacywood....(like Dolly Parton's Dollywood). Everything would be pink and black and sparkly...and there would be NO roller coasters....just merry-go-rounds, cuz I'm a wuss.

I've got an unexpected day off today. ***twiddle twiddle****
tum de tum... la de da....

Ohhh, I got a new (old) snare drum for my drumkits the other day.
It's a late '70's / early '80's vintage Yamaha studio recording one, in solid (seamless) Brass!
and it weighs about 35 tons!!! LOL So, maybe I'll spend an hour or two stripping it down, rebuilding and tuning it??

I was rehearsing with Gordy2 last night again and it went very well!
We added SIX new songs to the setlist in ONE night!!! Great stuff.

Hiya hunny! The Gordicot Centre has a nice ring to it!

When the caffeine has kicked in, I'm going to post a couple of videos for you. I have fallen in love with a South African band (of brothers) called the Kongos. They use a certain type of South African drum on their tracks, and it's got such a deep full tribal sound...I just LOVE it!!

My advice? Learn to type one handed! That level of manual dexterity is useful for so many things besides typing, that it makes sense to do it occasionally even when the cat is being reasonable

Six new songs in one night? Wow! Awesome!!!!

Had a very productive day today. Sorted through tons of jewelry supplies and put them in pretty boxes to stack up. Did my Mom's laundry as well as my own, got to see my nephew's wife and 3 year old daughter Elizabeth. She has really blonde hair and blue, blue eyes. She is so beautiful!

Sunday, one of my brother's will be coming for a visit from South Carolina! YAY!

Speaking of Dollyworld - that place scared me when I went there. Not only were the rides boring, but all the movie theaters in the park were about Dolly (as a guy, I think I lost a couple brain cells each time I went in; that's what I got for hanging around with several attractive girls in my group). Then again, it was the second time that someone told us that the "South will rise again" (well, all of us being from MI didn't hesitate to remind them who won the war).

I, sadly, do not have a park named after me, but I do have Jamestown

How goes the Shed tonight? It's been a while, but life has been throwing me about still; still can't say if it's a good or bad thing, but at least I'm not fighting the flow.
