Not sure if there are many following the 97% consensuses gate lol . It would seem that the AGW team after suffering a broken stick in the first period and their star centerMann taking a trip to the penalty box the team sent out their goalie Stephan Lewandowsky to start the 2nd period but his paper ended up getting pulled from the journal for ethical reasons seeing the journal nor the University wanted to face libel charges . Then the coach Cook decided to try and finish the game with his 97% consensuses paper but once again it's Houston we got a problem .

Like his previous mates there was a confusing trail to get the data .As it turned out the data was in the public domain and Brandon Shollenberger found it laying around .He contacted Cook to verify that what he had found and Cook told him someone would be in touch with him .A few days later he was sent a threatening Email by the University's lawyer claiming copyright to the data as well as the Email and told him if he showed the Email to anyone he would find himself in poop .

After some thoughts on the matter he decided to show the world the Email and now the cat is out of the bag .Not only is it out of the bag but no one can imagine the paper surviving the 3rd period .It seems that the University is caught between a rock and a very very hard place ethically .As far as the team goes well not only are they loosing fans but unless someone takes away the shovel away from them we may soon find out what the core of the earth is really made of .

Page asked why ...simply Page it's because the 97% consensus is a joke .You might understand that if your read web blogs like WUWT instead of SkS and Cooks garbage a reply to: FyreByrd ETA 20 year temps. dont forget that all this time the chicken littles have been screaming GLOBAL WARMING ..another big joke

Oh this is a good one ...

In the investigation, an undercover journalist from Project Veritas posed as a member of a Middle Eastern oil dynasty and offered $9 million in funding to American filmmakers to fund an anti-fracking movie.

In video from a meeting with Ed Begley Jr., Mariel Hemingway and Josh Tickell, a Project Veritas investigator disguised as “Muhammed” offered $9 million for an anti-fracking film. “Muhammad” clearly states: “If Washington DC continues fracking, America will be energy efficient, and then they won’t need my oil anymore.”

In the same conversation, Begley and Hemingway accept the funding and agree to hide the source of funds for the anti-fracking movie. Hemingway agreeing that those who will know the source of the funding are “only at this table.”

Ed Begley Jr. is an outspoken environmental activist and current Governor on the board of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Science (the organization that brings us the OSCARS every year.)

Mariel Hemingway is a Golden Globe- and Oscar-nominated actress.

Josh Tickell is a Sundance Film Festival Winner and the director of environmental message movies “Fuel”, “The Big Fix” and “PUMP”.

Team Begley even submitted a video of Oscar-nominated actor Mark Ruffalo offering his unwavering support for the fictitious anti-fracking film project.

The meeting came about after a series of discussions with Josh and Rebecca Tickell. A Project Veritas journalist posed as an ad executive seeking to broker a deal for his client (“Muhammed”) to fund an American-made anti-fracking film.

In a phone call to Tickell, the ad executive states: “My client’s interest is to end American energy independence; your interest is to end fracking. And you guys understand that?”

Tickell’s response: “Correct. Yes, super clear.”

Tickell makes it clear on the tape that revealing the source of funding for an activist film can undermine its credibility. Tickell notes that the movie “Promised Land” undermined its own message because it was labeled as being funded by Image Nation Abu Dhabi. His advice: “So rather than putting that [the source of funding] up front, don’t mention that.”

In a follow-up call with Josh and Rebecca Tickell, Rebecca Tickell assures our investigator: “We would never tell about where the funding is coming from. That would be really awkward for us.”

Josh Tickell: “We’re confident that we can keep this zip locked, you know tight, air-tight forever. If we don’t protect who is kind of funding this thing, if we have to disclose that or that becomes a necessary part of it, the whole enterprise will not work.”

Project Veritas founder and president James O’Keefe stated Wednesday:

“This latest investigation shows the dark side of Hollywood’s environmental movement. Hollywood is willing to take and conceal money from Middle Eastern oil interests in order to advance their cause of destroying American energy independence.”

I'm not even going to start. If the church of AGW wants to believe what they believe (despite the scientific method), and feel the need to ridicule everyone who do follow the scientific method (where no theory is ever considered certain), then let this new church be.

At least AGW encourages stopping pollution. There's a bright side to everything.

(sarcastic) Because the video is full of factual, reproductible data, and it is certainly not a satirical show designed for entertainment and political attacks.

HBO is totally independent although it is owned by Times Warner, who has a chair along politicians in the great CFR. But no, there's no bias here.

Pretty graphic video. 75% acknowledge man's effect on climate. 25% don't. Why give the 25% equal time? Give them a proportionate amount. Also it's refreshing to finally have a reason to embrace our President. "Climate change is already affecting us now." It sure is. Couldn't agree more.

1) because it was entertaining. And...

2) because, regardless of the 'cause' or 'causes' of 'global warming', 'climate change', 'pollution', 'little green men', drastic changes to climate patterns are happening, it is a fact. That is the point.

I can't watch videos at work so hey OP, how about doing your thread creator duty and sum up the video? You know like the T&C tells you to do?

Climate change does happen.

That doesn't mean that we should embrace the AGW Theory church, and that those who don't should be called heretics and/or ridiculed.
