Look at the defiling of britney spears and christina aguellera... They came on the scene as regular girl next doors, and now their cheap looking whores all done up by their male superiors because it will make them "more money"....

I guess sometimes it's good to have hardcore feminists.... to keep's the balance I suppose...

Heh have you actually seen pics of Britany Spears dress to her first high school dance when she was 14? Lol Talk about revealing. Saw it on E.T. I don't usually pollute my mind with pop culture, but this stuck in my mind. BTW I do not see it as a sexism thing because the fact is Sex Sells. However I do acknoledge that there is a wage discrepancy between the sexs and I think that should be concentrated on more then how the sexes are portraid in the media. But that is just my humble opinion. BTW Sexism, like racism or ageism is contrary to everything I believe in. Just wanted to get my personal stance out in the open but I am not a male "feminist".

I understand, I don't pollute my mind with pop culture for the same reason, but pop culture is what is shaping the future generation's minds and that is what i have a problem with.

I give this example because i rememeber seeing christina aguelera or whatever have her manager or whoever is above her talk to her about how she needs to reveal more to make more, it is just one example of how women are treated....

It gives me the impresison that your not "really anything" unless you reveal more of yourself in a sexual manner....

If sex sells why aren't guys going to work showing off their hairy chests??
I for one think it's hot... Or what about "tight blouses" that show their frame??
If it sells why aren't men jumping on board to "make more"???

Or is that just fitting for women?

yes I've seen it, is it because they try to make it "equal" ??? In reality though, i'm still not seeing the tight blouses and hairy chests... If it really sells men should be jumping right on it... But i'm thinking it's just directed towards the female sex...

It's funny because if a woman is passionate and strong in her convictions about things, she's viewed as a bitch or some other derogatory name....

I believe that the males have indeed jumped on this bandwagon; when's the last time you saw an R&B/hiphop video that didn't feature a half-naked male?

We don't have to like it, but in an era when "Extreme Makeover" and "The Swan" are the hottest shows on TV, blatant displays of perfect physiques are the advertising/marketing technique du jour.

That's just what the world needs is some more 'Finger Pointing and Blame' being pushed around in everyone's face. Isn't it cool how in today's culture nobody every finds any fault within themselves, but instead finds it in so many other people. Makes ya feel all cozy inside just thinking about it!

Not to imply that they are subhuman trash now or anything. They're just like the rest of us, trying to fill the void within our lonely lives with something that is 'atleast temporary pleasure'. Obviously they have a large hole to fill if it takes so much Money and Energy to try and fill it!

Besides, everyone loves Boobs!! Especially since we've done so much over the years to force women to cover them up. Teasing us with sexy bra's and nipple tassles and all that stuff.
Had they just let em be free from the start, perhaps they wouldn't be so hypnotic to us by now. (Probably not though. I know after almost 30 years I still love em just as much as ever. I don't think there is anything wrong with that either.)

Sardion, I belive what you said in your second post. I haven't seen the video, but I am aware that the media makes men look like sexist, sexaholics(if that's how you spell it). Men aren't usually as bad as that. The way I see it, men will treat a women like a whore if she allows it, and respects women who have respect for themselves. I have met a few guys who are true sexists, meaning they view a woman as being good for only sex.
In general, guys treat "easy" type girls, with a lack of respect, and treat the respectable women with the utmost respect, and that is because they demand it. One can't demand respect if they don't have respect for themself. But, it is not acceptable to mistreat a female who has low self esteem, and disrespects herself, even if she allows it.

Humans tend to get away with what they can with who they can. The media is filled with disgusting things, but in real life, people will (basically)treat you based on how you view yourself.

I don't like the woman but she's just as outspoken as bush, but if you listen, we have media and what not tell us she isn't "classy".... Unlike Laura Bush who doesn't really say anything, she's more of the mousey type female...

Well for instance in "Slave for You" the ratio of scantily clad guys vs girls was like 20 to 1. All the males were topless and had very tight pants or loincloths etc etc. So I still see it as a two way street. I am however reiterating the current problem with wage discrapancies with men vs. women. I see that as a more immediate problem and can only be overcome with education, time and patients. Just look how far the feminist movement have taken female rights in the past 50 years. Alot of progress has been made, yet I fear that some females might get it into their head that they are superoir to men thus starting the cycle over again.

BTW I do not see an Opinionated women as a "Bitch" or any other derogatory term allthough I do agree with you that is the case especially with advanced age comes older ideas get what i mean?(not trying to be agist or anything its just how it seems to be)

The wage thing really cheeses me off... .You do the same job because your a female you get paid less??? How would men feel if they were treated like this in a matriarchal society??? You just said you fear some females might get inot their heads that they are superior to men.... Well guess what, the exact is happening... Yeah it is bad, but compare with other people, like Africans who are dying right now because of the British.

I am saying you deserve it, but you are at least luckier than those poor africans.

I'd bet dollars to donuts that Britney Spears sells more records to teenage girls than to teenage boys. As long as women are willing to get naked for the camera, at least 75% of the male population will be willing to watch and many of those will pay to watch.

And that is the saddest thing about this situation. Young girls want to *be* their current idol, and therefore try to emulate their favorite singer/actress/whatever; the quickest and easiest way to do so is by (un)dressing like them.

Trust me, everyone get's screwed on the money thing. As a matter of fact, that is the cruel little game they play with everyone so as to keep everyone in submission and wanting 'Their' money. The only way you can win is to stop playing their games!!! If people would stop fighting each other all the time then we could comfortably band together and support one another, no longer having to 'Sell Ourselves' to those who abuse their Economic Strength.

As for the Superior Sex goes, no one side is above the other. All the trouble over who's in charge over who needs to stop so that we can let all the 'Lovin' begin!!

What's wrong is that Women are in competition with each other so bad they become psycho sluts or frigid man haters. In doing so, the sluts spend all their time with the Lowest of the Male Swine instead of the few good men who are out there while the Man-Haters lynch the shy quiet guys. So in the end Everyone Loses.

As for the Men, it's much more simple. Men basically come in two flavors. Shallow Scumbag Pigs who are lead by their 'little heads' in pursuit of planting their flags everywhere. Then there's the Men who simply want to find a woman without a 'U-haul' load of emotional baggage, that will be open to effection and doesn't need 'Drama' in order to survive. The problem is that Men aren't allowed to be Men anymore. Partially because half the Men were a bunch of Prehistoric Apes and partially because women try to 'Change' Men as if they're some Doll waiting for a makeover.

Simply stated, Men should worship the Women and the Women should comfort the Men. Although that is very difficult when so many people of both sexes are emotionally lame and/or intellectually retarded.

I have to somewhat agree here...while I think what you said is a bit extreme...I agree, women can be their own worst enemies...I see it all the time.
