62 Percent of Labor Department’s International Grants Missing Documentation

Here they go again.

This time it's the U.S. Labor Department and their missing paperwork concerning grant money to overseas groups in an effort to improve working conditions.

Apparently paperwork like "Conflict of Interest" forms, Review Board and Excluded Parties lists are among the mysteriously missing documents.

The Government Accountability Office has issued a report with concerns.

Hmmm. wonder who's getting rich off this deal?

Another fine example of Obama's sloppy schlock outfits hard at work to line pockets of Kronies no doubt.

More than half of international grants distributed by the Labor Department are missing documentation, according to the Government Accountability Office (GAO).

The Department of Labor’s Bureau of International Labor Affairs (ILAB) distributed roughly $70 million in awards to improve working conditions overseas and fight child labor last year. However, 62 percent of these grants lacked proper documentation.

I wonder why the GAO is recommending the paperwork?

I think the lack opens the corruption doors.

I bet this report triggers an investigation.

Are other Cabinet Departments under "no paperwork required" also?

Incomplete documentation makes it difficult to determine if Labor is following its grant
award procedures, including conducting due diligence on financial viability and past performance of applicants. ............



What GAO Recommends

To ensure the integrity of the
procurement process for ILAB grants,
the Secretary of Labor should provide guidance about documents required in grant award files
and ensure that the guidance is implemented.
