A proposal. A ATS writers Charity project

I understand that you must have "Writers" status to contribute to the collaborative writing forum. But what I am proposing is that members collectively write a story that can be downloaded as a e-Book (for 99 cents) and that the proceeds be donated to a charity of the winner of the the last writing contests choice in ATS'es name. (Does that sound right? I'm still on my first cup of coffee.)

I don't really know all the ins and outs of how the day to day functions at ATS HQ, but I do know that some forums are locked out to members who do not have a certain...um, I hate to say this, status. But this could be a way for other people who like to write to contribute as well.

Or maybe publish something like Amazing Stories, a quarterly themed short story e-Book so that others who are not members can enjoy the stories as well.

Hell, my brain is all over the place at the moment, I need more coffee and a shower to level out. But I think y'all get the gist of what I'm saying.
