Just a thought... If a propagating radio wave leaves the antenna with what could be called as an ever expanding ball, and the centre of the ball is the propagating signal, and I have two radio sets in line from the centre of propagation, the first radio set interrupts the wave and the information is transferred into words and comes out of the speaker as sound waves. Then the second radio set, should get nothing as their should be an ever expanding hole in the information wave.
If one of laws of quantum states that no information is lost. Then the second set should hear the same as the first. (Bearing that the signal would be inversely proportional to the distance etc.) When their should be nothing left for it to receive. Does It pass through the first radio and its energy is diminished, and the signal is weaker on the second radio. Still leaving the quantum law intact?. Because energy level is still an integral part of the information of the wave. Or by some miracle the wave repairs itself and continues.

It's an expanding waveform
A single photon isn't carrying the information, the expanding wave form is.
You are intercepting a very small portion of the waveform.

Based on my understanding you have just explained the humans ability to communicate. The antenna being the human mind, the ever expanding ball being the consciousness/awareness and the radio sets being two beings communicating (radio waves). If one were to follow through with this understanding one may be able to acquire an answer through studying ones self.

If one of said beings receives a thought from another and chooses to respond to it they inevitably are dispersing energy to that thought/signal. If that same being were to ignore or not be aware of the intended thought signal no energy would be lost and the signal would pass right through.

It all comes down to aware vs. unaware. When the sun goes down one may perceive that there is no sun but undoubtedly it still exists, the difference being the one perceiving it not is merely not giving it's energy to that awareness because the radio is not picking up on it's signal (they cannot see the sun so they aren't aware it's there).

Lots to think about on that one, even a baseball has a wavelength however weak. Which infers that everything that is and has ever been has its corresponding information wave out there somewhere. The reason why is another thing.
