You should make this about favorite solos, not "best". "Best" is a subjective term.
having said that, anything from The Wall / David Gilmour. Tasty and awesome tone. I've been playing for 35 years, too, and playing is more about
what kind of connection you make with the listener, not speed or which runs you play, etc. I like listening to Malmsteen for the same reason I like
watching a nascar race, but after a couple songs I'm good, and move on to some SRV or whatever.
