Earlier this week, the villagers attacked a convoy of Boko Haram militants and killed over a 100, while the terrorist group was heading to another village for an attack.
It must be recalled that earlier this month, the Boko Haram militants, which had come to blunder food and other resources, killed over 250 unarmed civilians in the north Eastern town near the Cameroon border.
It is reported that over 100 Boko Haram men were killed by the villagers and an equal number was arrested as well. Both police personnel and villagers were involved in the coordinated attack, meant to repel the terror group.
"It is impossible for them to simple come here as we have armed vigilante groups fighting for us. That is why most attacks by the Boko Haram on ou

Good so that excuse for the USA to poke its nose in has gone.

That Kony thing was hyped up to death for some reason or another but they never quite got the act togeather so maybe now attention will turn towards the 49 people burnt alive by thugs from Kiev instead of being brushed under the carpet as if that type of thing happens all the time.

Not even Hitler did that type of murder in open blood

But civilians shouldn't have guns! They could hurt themselves with those deadly things. Best to let the government handle these matters and hide your daughters in the crawl space until it's over.

/sarc off.

I can hardly imagine the surprise those militants got. They usually think they're invincible because nobody resists. Let's hope they all get this careless.

I would imagine there's probably a few fathers with the prisoners doing whatever it takes to make them tell them where they took their daughters and wives to. What Geneva convention? We never signed it!

This is just setting up beautifully for a US Military intervention isn't it?

They may get their way into Africa after all.

Karma at its very best for this scum who deserve no better...

Lest we not forget the 250 schoolgirls that are still under captivity too?

Kindest respects

Seems to be a worldwide trend of people taking up arms to do what their governments wouldnt.

Mexicans against the cartels and now Nigerian villagers against terrorists.

Time for a global 2nd Amendment.

There isn't any help coming for these people. Not ever.

The US intervenes to help globalist bankers. That is who they work for. The US helping people? Never happened.

Real enough.

These groups like the cartels and Boko are used to the public around them either fearing them or ignoring them.

These groups are also used to being the ones doing the ambushing.

It'd be easy enough to "shock and awe" an entity like that. Full of hubris and always engaging on their own terms.

Not unlike a bully, once you set the fight on your own terms they wet their pants and fall apart.

Plus, it's not like some magic powers are bestowed upon anyone in a particular group to become "awesomer" than anyone not in that group. A lesson best remembered by police and enlisted the world over.

I wonder what the label would be for dissent towards big government would be? terrorists, infidels, gangsters, banksters?

Repercussions people....

Their Crazy leader who says "god" is guiding him will probably tell him to kill all the girls for the villagers actions.

I am proud that they stood up against them, but i am afraid of the consequences.

For Every Action, There is an Equal if Not Greater Reaction

why? the taliban/mujahadeen did it to us and the russans ,the vietmin chased out the french, the usa and allies in nam and then chased out the chinese. the cartel has been getting hit hard by armed milita in mexico as the people are getting fed up with what they are having to deal with,a good deal of the red army in ww2 were poorly trained conscripts(state sanctioned milita) and we all know how that turned out for the nazis

the swiss are famous for dropping farm implements picking up pikes and slaughtering the invaders of their homeland to the last man then going back to work and they are almost the embodiment of milita

its all fun and games raping and pillaging and taking slaves tell some one starts shooting back and keep in mind this is Africa they may not all have access to fresh water but what they do have access to is fire arms most westerners cant get their hands on(RPG's,RPK's and more ak-47's and various small arms in fully military flavors than you can shake a stick at )

from the op's article it seems they set up an ambush/kill zone along a known convoy route and hit them while they were trying to go raid another town (like what happens to allied forces in iraq but with IED's primarily) and with the level of firepower they probably have access too not hard to see how they killed 100 and captured another 100. where as most modern militaries would have just called in air support/arty strike Boko Haram does not evidently have this option so they were probably pinned down and forced to either surrender or die

www.news.va... guess some of the locals are worried about the new milita.from the vatican news

www.voanews.com... on how and where they(boko Haram) get some of their funding

voiceofrussia.com... and with a 300,000 dollar reward for the rescue of the girls/capture of boko haram members involved they have quite the financial incentive to find BH

Nigerian police has announced a reward of 50 million naira (about $ 300,000) for information that will help to find more than 200 girls who were abducted by terrorists from Boko Haram, Nigerian police press-service reported. Read more: voiceofrussia.com...

Excellent example of why law abiding citizens need to be armed.
Gov'ts screw it up. Criminals take advantage.
We have to be able to protect ourselves.
