The BLM is at it again.

This time it's for the protection of the New Mexico Meadow Jumping Mouse that was placed on the endangered list last year apparently.

The BLM has restricted cattle access to land again. now in New Mexico.

Big fight looming with local ranchers and local government.

Water rights are involved too.

Seems the BLM has been turning up the heat ever since that old buddy of Harry Reid took over a while back.

Something is up. Maybe some kind of Agenda 21 malarkey?

Or just a power play.

Who inside the government is making all this trouble ? And WHY ??

The government is robbing ranchers of their livelihood again, only this time the ranchers have broken no laws.

The federal government – the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) now under the leadership of Harry Reid’s former top aide – closed down access to New Mexico ranchers’ land for the nonsensical reason that it was to protect the New Mexico Meadow Jumping Mouse.

Rancher Kit Laney, and a number of New Mexico Ranchers are all locked in a vicious battle with the federal government over land that the Feds are now claiming ownership of, land the Laney family has claims to going all the way back to 1883.

It is obvious that the BLM want a confrontation, they just don't want to be the ones that actually start shooting. Land ownership and water ownership will be major cornerstones of society along with mining rights.

There is an agenda, that much is obvious. Try to discover what conglomerate actually wants this land and for what.

They will continue with this BS until they get what they want, and what they want is a fire fight. Look for a false flag this time. They will get someone inside the rancher's lines that will spark the whole thing off, they have to.

Why the hell doesn't the state step in and legislate these so called federal powers away. I acknowledge they should not have to but it is working well on those states that have backed up the 2nd with special acts. They need to pull the teeth of the BLM and it is an urgent matter. It is well worth calling the House for a special sitting.

The Otero County Commission is scheduled to meet Monday to discuss whether to order the sheriff to open the gates against the wishes of Forest Service officials, who have argued that the fence is needed to protect the Agua Chiquita riparian area and habitat for the New Mexico meadow jumping mouse.

Otero County Sheriff Benny House said he worries that the increasingly tense situation could erupt into a Nevada-style melee between ranchers and federal agents.

“What’s going to happen here is that we could end up with a Bundy situation,” said Sheriff House, referring to Nevada rancher Cliven Bundy’s standoff with the Bureau of Land Management. “Hopefully, we can resolve it without it getting out of hand.”

Feds rile ranchers by fencing off water for cattle — to protect a jumping mouse!

O.M.G. !!!

WHEN will these BLM folks ever QUIT ???

WHO doesn't THINK the B.L.M. "PUBLIC"-Relations' ... Draws-Wind ???

MAP-n-LOCATION: Otero County, New Mexico

UPDATE: Looks like they'll be involving the Bigger New Mexico Officials ...

Otero County Sheriff Benny House said that he plans to wait to enforce the order until after a meeting Friday called by acting U.S. Attorney Damon Martinez.

“We’re just doing our homework and finding out exactly what our options are between now and the meeting on Friday, and hopefully we can get something resolved on Friday,” said Mr. House. “I’ll give them that courtesy.”

These idiots are going to cause a Civil War. You don't just go to a rancher and just take his land, water, and animals.

If BLM runs off every cattle rancher down here, who is going to raise the beef? Control the food supply to control the people right?

so what are they gonna do about all those birds swooping down on those little mice?

They sure seem to take ridiculous actions, probably to promote negative attitudes against these animals. These mice have been coexisting with the cows for a long time. I see this as an anti-endangered animal promotion, turning the public sentiment against protecting these critters.

It's like introducing wolves back into this area, wolves kill a lot of animals that people like. Insurance companies have complained to the states that the deer are causing a lot of damage to cars. Is the planting of wolves to lessen the deer or is it to protect the wolves. Same with planting fishers and martins, then protecting them. I guess partridge and rabbits are terrorists also. Keep the people dependent on society to get their food.

Now, that is off topic.

They (BLM) have all the environmental reports that show how all the cattle and ranchers are the reason the mouse is endangered.....right?

That the cattle grazing there are going to make the mouse extinct.....right?

The BLM can show all this....and some how justify a land grab..........

Right?????

Hey BLM ------------>

Have you ever seen a mouse that could jump an entire meadow?
I really don't see why they need protection...if they can do that.
...ever heard of Mighty Mouse?

I don't think cattle eat mice./sarcasm I would look into who and how the mouse got put on the endangered species list. Possibly, some group or corporation was funding that drive.

Maybe they want to cause another "Bundy Rally". That way they can hire the New Mexico State Police as back up. We all know how trigger happy those NM police are...

Like the Bundy situation, this is FEDERAL Land, NOT his own land. It's the Gila Forest Wilderness and the grazing is not only threatening the mouse, it's badly damaging the wilderness' streams and creeks, and has threatened the endangered Gila trout.

Read more: Old, New West clash on range - The Denver Post www.denverpost.com...

Kit Laney HAD grazing rights, but the feds are taking them away, which they have EVERY right to do.

When the Forest Service slashed the number of cattle he could run, Laney refused to sign his permit and grazed his cattle in the wilderness anyway. When the Forest Service hired contractors to remove the animals, he confronted them, charging them on horseback and whipping one man with his reins, according to an indictment.

It's exactly the same as Bundy.

BLM is not "at it again". Its their job, they have been doing htis all the time.. it is just that with Bundy thing, they became media attention and it seems like they are "at it again".

Another "I am above the law" rancher having his imaginary land stolen by the mean old BLM. Maybe Bundy and him can start a club they can call it the old west whiners club. All you have to do to be a member is cry my family has been using this public land since the 1800's and now the mean old government is stealing it.

Why do people think this? Look, I don't care about the damn mouse, but this is FEDERALLY OWNED LAND! The BLM is not taking any or confiscating any rancher's land. They ranchers don't own it! It is federal land managed by BLM, and they can do whatever the hell they want with it!

If you lease land from someone to use during deer hunting season, do you own that land? of course not! Doe the land owner have the right to terminate your lease? Of course. Same exact thing, only in this instance the ranchers pay to use the land for grazing from the land owner....which just happens to be the United States of America.

Federally owned land = public land=my land=your land. Period!!!, Feds are our servants, not masters. We, the public, raise beef on our public lands to feed us, the public.

What is the problem?

Silly goose!

Principle 15

In order to protect the environment, the precautionary approach shall be
widely applied by States according to their capabilities. Where there are
threats of serious or irreversible damage, lack of full scientific certainty
shall not be used as a reason for postponing cost-effective measures to prevent
environmental degradation

Source

The full agenda is on the UN website as a PDF (its 350+ pages long), but its important to know what it means when it simply states things like

It will be carried out by the various actors according to the different situations, capacities and priorities of countries and regions in full respect of all the principles contained in the Rio Declaration on Environment and Development

Source

Really, if people would just research it, a lot of answers would unfold. You dont even need to go to the conspiracy side of things, really, all of the information is available directly from the source. Just be aware of buzzwords that make you think it is something good as an assumption without explaining how its actually going to work. Most ATS members should be able to recognize such things, I think.

The concept behind outsourcing is outlined in the first couple of pages.
