Move it to where ever. I posted a news story and made some commentary about it with my own personal view of his stance. Why would someone ban you for posting a thread to have a conversation? If it's in wrong forum I apologize.

Wow that is a lot of good information disproving man-made climate change. Kudos. I've always maintained that climate change is real, but the debate is if it is caused by man or not. Personally, I'm not worried about it either way. I don't think any of the government's answers for it will work and I honestly don't think that humans will curb their habits enough (if it is man made) to prevent it. Therefore, let's just wait and see what happens. Collect the evidence later after we've lived through it.

Rubio says humans arent behind climate change

Would anyone actually vote for this guy now? OK I get it it's a political hot issue but to just come out and say I don't believe the educated scientist is pretty stupid when you got zero evidence to prove they are wrong or even the slightest bit of knowledge on the subject.

Anyone who would vote for this clown now is well one and the same...

Just 10,000 years ago, the place where I now live was under thousands of feet of glacial ice. Who melted that? I doubt that native Americans had enough camp fires to do it. The fact is, scientist know that we are polluting, that is not rocket science, however, they do not know what the true effects are. The government manipulates the weather so much now I suggest they are the ones causing unstable patterns. As far as voting, I know for a fact I will not vote for a proven liar, granted most politicians do lie, but some do it daily.... they just blame videos.

lol, global climate change, let me see...

yeah, it will and has changed forever.

why don't the scientists put pressure on china and india?

no amount of money and no matter what the US does will offset just those 2 countries.

the global climate alarmists want to destroy the US and anyone foolish enough to believe them.

good for rubio to speak up!

Just to continue from my earlier post showing the fraud in Global Warming theory surely most of us have at least seen the "Gore Graph" where Big Al shows a six-screen wide graph of CO2 concentrations compared to global temperature fluctuations. One quick look at this graph and it is quite obvious the two are related. When Gore does his Dog & Pony show he usually makes a joke of it and says something like, "Obviously these two things are not related." which always gets a big chuckle from his adoring audiences. This next graph is not the exact one he uses, but it plots similar data. It's the same idea:

OBVIOUSLY, right? So Gore is OBVIOUSLY right, right? It sure looks like it. CO2 and temperature are very closely aligned. It looks like one causes the other. Indeed, that's a rational conclusion. Gore says a rise in CO2 CAUSES a rise in temperature.

Bzzt. Thanks for playing! When Gore first started showing his graph around the data was very "granular." In other words, each point on the original graph covered a few thousand years. But subsequent passes through the data have allowed a finer granularity, i.e.: It's now possible to show fewer number of years per data point. And guess what? Gore's graph is backwards. A closer look at the data shows conclusively that higher temperature CAUSES and outflux of CO2!

Now how could that be? Well, nobody knows for sure, but one proposed idea is that a greater temperature warms the oceans which causes the water to outgas CO2. A larger CO2 concentration is a RESULT OF higher temperatures, not the CAUSE OF higher temperatures. But does Gore admit this? Of course not. He absolutely refuses to debate the issue with anyone.

Now here's another graph showing that temperature fluctuations are normal:

I used one much like it in my first post. There are dozens. And what they all show is fluctuations in temperature over time, none of which are any more than is claimed for the current "rise" in temperature that just happens to have shown no rise at all for the last 17 years. It appears to have "stalled," much to the consternation of scientists, who are quick to point out it must be El Nino, or El Nina, or something they're not quite sure about, but pay no attention to the man behind the curtain because we are Scientists, and we are always right. And here's what they predicted:

You can see that their predictions "with a 95% certainty" (a common method to present statistics, the ".05 confidence level" which basically means that if this "experiment' were tried 100 times, the conclusions would be correct 95 times and wrong 5 times) were wrong. They started out correctly, which gave scientists the confidence they were on target, but in later years have deviated below predicted levels. These are all computer models, projections of past data projected on a future that hasn't happened yet. Have you guys ever used computer spreadsheets like Excel or Lotus 123? You know how quickly you can be eight places past the decimal point and be completely wrong. Well, that's what has happened here. Reality hasn't matched their projections. At all. Sure, temperature is going up a bit, but not anywhere near the panic-inducing levels that are claimed by the UN IPCC--not even close.

And notice how "deniers" are treated these days. It isn't very pretty. Scientists have called for "deniers" to be put in jail, even executed. Obama has suggested "deniers" are "flat-earthers." Kerry had made various snide remarks toward people who are skeptics. Just look at the OP of this thread. You can't possibly vote for Rubio because, because he DOESN'T BELIEVE a scientist! The horrors of it all! These are all direct ad hominem attacks on people who are trying valiantly to point out this CONSPIRACY. just look at the following graph. I mean, it's OBVIOUS:

But please tell me, "Where's the Beef?" Well, here's a good example. This is an official thermometer measuring the increase in global warming:

It's an asphalt parking lot in Tucson, Arizona. Just put your SUV on idle next to one of these puppies and watch the global temperature soar. This is the kind of data that is being collected to "prove" global warming.

Yes, it's much more complex than a couple of posts can show. All I ask is that you STUDY the issue. read a couple of books. Examine the "other side" and just see if Rubio isn't one of the straightest shooters out there. Will I vote for him? Meh, probably not, but he isn't misleading anyone on this particular issue. In fact, he is unusually well educated on it.

All I ask is for anyone wanting to be President of the United States is to STUDY the issue and listen to experts. Not just rule it out for political gain when human existence is at stake.

And you sir can post graphs all day long but actually you don't know any better than anyone else. You don't know any better than I do if the science on this is a fiasco or not. I just ask that the leaders of the planet be serious about serious issues and Mr. Rubio is not. He should not be applauded for putting his head in the sand. Just no.

really.........how well has this been working out for the current administration?

How well have all their experts been doing?

These "experts" are in it for political and monitary gain......

People have thrown their whole careers away to expose this thing for what it is.........

So , should we listen to the people who have everything to gain by propping up this idea.....

....or the people who have lost EVERYTHING to speak out against it.......

To that end, id rather do my own research then listen to the talking head "experts"

But hey, if you want your global warming info spoon fed to you by "experts" more power to you........

IMHO the person like Rubio who chooses to research and come to their own conclusions even if it flies in the face of what the main stream wants to preach, looks vastly more intelligent then the people gobbling this crap up w out a second thought.......

you can look at the data yourself. i have. climate change is happening and there is a direct correlation between the industrial revolution and average temperature data. direct, obvious, not something you can hem and haw about. its there. that's why the north pole ice sheet will soon be the north pole sea.

there are lots of conspiracies, but the raw data supports what is happening. how damaging it will be is as yet undetermined, though what should be most concerning is causal change in ocean acidity.

I'd say it's much more likely that the planet is warming as part of a natural cycle but these scientists have realized that if they pretend it's the fault of humanity, a lot of sweet cash can be guilted/extorted from the world. I guess I'm with the Senator on this.

I am just saying I he has made up his mind and is not going to listen to anyone about it. I do not want a President who would make such a mental shift toward such an important issue that could cause our very extinction.

I've made up my mind too, it's not Global Warming or what ever the Doom Porn is now.
You'll die of old age before we could become extinct that way, I'd worry more about a Big A$$ Meteor Crashing to Earth.

It's Just Our Sun and Weather!

Thats a great way to be nebulous about it tho.....and thats the exact same tactic used by the people pushing this agenda........

Sure climate change is happening..........and sure the "raw data" shows its happening.........

That doesnt mean its drawing a direct correlation to it being caused by MAN

I just don't believe that's True, I don't understand how anyone would believe it.

Someone let Al Gore know the South Pole isn’t melting. Antarctic sea ice coverage reached record levels for April, hitting 3.5 million square miles — the largest on record.

It was a cold summer down in Antarctica, with sea ice coverage growing about 43,500 square miles a day, according to the National Snow and Ice Data Center (NSDC). April 2014 beats the previous sea-ice coverage record from April 2008 by a whopping 124,000 square miles.

But even with autumn in full swing in the South Pole, “record levels continue to be set in early May,” reports the NSDC. Sea ice levels have been “significantly above” satellite data averages for 16 consecutive months.

In late December, a group of tourists and climate scientists got caught in Antarctic ice pack about 1,500 miles south of Tasmania. The expedition sought to document how global warming has changed the region in the last century, but instead made world headlines for getting stuck in record levels of ice.

“We’re stuck in our own experiment,” the Australasian Antarctic Expedition said in a statement. “We came to Antarctica to study how one of the biggest icebergs in the world has altered the system by trapping ice.”

Come on you remember these people don't you? Sing Along!!

Extinction?? Thats a word even the global warming scammers dont use. So are we gonna give them even more money so they can lie to us? I mean extinction is a pretty serious word. Maybe you should be running some climate change, I mean Global warming, I mean weather think tank/government department. You probably could do just as good a job of lying like the others. Extinction....hehehe

I believe this is a double edged sword argument. I despise a carbon tax as a business model to support the gubmint. However, Ben Davidson at Suspicious0bservers.org has an interesting theory on the Sun possibly repeating the Maunder minimum that took place around 1650. We are in a solar maximum cycle but the Sun is producing more of a minimum nature regarding solar flares and sunspot activity. Talking about weather history or history in general there has been an explosive human population due to the industrial revolution. Debating the value of the fine line between seasons allowing the feeding of "civilized" people or not because of weather anomalies should be at the heart of the matter in my opinion.
People who cannot sustain themselves in the event of weather anomalies will resort to survival mode if the chain becomes broken for any reason. Looking at this situation from multiple angles is important. I would suggest that everything being a business model will eventually change whether a larger Universe cycle is at play or the industrialization of humans exhausts our ability to sustain huge numbers of people for labor and possibly fails from multiple variables, politics/economics/oligarchy, or a combination of the said variables.
Rubio may be right about his conviction that nothing will change by modifying policy. I'm quite sure our human desire to keep the business model of human exploitation alive for the quest for more wealth will overpower any reform regarding anything. Greed and materialism will eventually run us into the ground. Those at one with mother Earth will most likely survive.
People who poo-poo the idea that all scenarios I just mentioned are impossible and simply the work of agenda driven people are cutting themselves short. Geez, a pound of bacon was $7.59 in SW Michigan on Mother's day! Anyone purchase a good cut of meat lately? Regardless of whether the pricing is weather related or not it affects our sustainability. Keeping this issue political will only further obfuscate the reality that is with us and whether you care or not. It won't matter to you if you find yourself on the needing side of things.
Every proponent of the human innocence side of the climate crisis is in denial. Sociology as well as greater Universal time cycles has to be considered for an unbiased opinion. Refusing to look at this from multiple angles robs us of an understanding that we deserve if you care about your children's future.
Rubio is nothing more than a politician. He might as well be a used car salesman as far as I'm concerned. That is what the whole lot are to me anyhow. More people looking to exploit you for their own lavish benefits, both right and left. Can't we just stick to the science of it? There are plenty of unbiased opinions out there if you stay away from the MSM.
I will ad this quote I saw yesterday as food for thought. "The only way to deal with an un-free world is to become so absolutely free that your very existence is an act of rebellion"- Albert Camus. And I will add, "easier said than done".
