Yet Russia is the only Space Agency able to get astronauts to the ISS... The USA has to ask Russia to ferry it's astronauts .. now that's FUNNY

Only because the U.S. has chosen too. It doesn't have to though, our private sector alone is becoming capable of reaching the ISS.

From Elon Musk's twitter on April 29th:

Sounds like this might be a good time to unveil the new Dragon Mk 2 spaceship that @SpaceX has been working on w @NASA. No trampoline needed— Elon Musk (@elonmusk) April 29, 2014

I wonder if they actually did the due process and got permission to use the image?

As far as I can tell, it's copyrighted to Getty images...

So this is where you've been all this time, Yakov.

Link to the Russian article: nr2.ru...

NR2 is not an official media outlet. Their disclaimer at the bottom of the page states that they use "citizen journalism" along with the official media sources. So this particular article, along with the photoshopped picture, might have been written by a member of the public.

They weren't the first: www.edfeathers.com...

P.S. I'm sure the copyright to the original image lies with NASA.

NASA photos were created using U.S. tax dollars. There is no copyright attached.

Russia would not be the first to fake pics from NASA images:

Excellent! Quite correct regarding who did it. AND -- There was another recent cartoon of a Chinese astronaut trampling down the Apollo-11 flag.... anybody recall the site?

Was actually a russian program implemented by the KGB into our universities and education system. As an attempt to destroy our country from within! And a rather successful operation at that! ........ but dont just take my word for it. Do the research. And Find out for yourself ........Ha Cha Cha! a reply to: JimOberg
