I would say WW3 is likely, but not inevitable.
However, one thing that is inevitable, is all of our deaths, regardless of war, famine, disease, etc. Death comes for us all, much sooner than we tend
to think, but we act as if we will live on this planet, in this realm, forever.
But it is not so.
WW3 or not, we all will inevitably die. All life will perish, and all matter in the universe will eventually disintegrate even, leaving no physical
artifact behind as testament to any perceived great deeds or legendary civilizations, or horrible events or cosmic catastrophes.
If we were all cognizant of this at all times, having incorporated this inescapable truth of the impermanence of this reality into our primary day to
day mental operating paradigms, the world would be at peace. Perspective would be gained by all, and futile endeavours like money, illusory power,
war, and traits born from ignorance of truth like greed, and pride, would no longer control the course of humanity, having lost their power, and any
allure to anyone with understanding of the truth.
Perhaps then if we all realized we dont live forever, we would live life like we were dying, with cognizance about whats truly important and lasting,
and what is meaningless and fleeting.
And indeed, we are dying. Every beat of your heart brings death inexorably closer to you.
And before you even know it... death will have arrived.
