Guess what happens when you're in the wrong place at the wrong time?

Or is it...

Right place, Wrong time?

or...

Wrong place, Right time?

or...

Right place, Right time?

Gotta ask the Caribou I guess.

Peace

Hey, why walk or swim when you can ride?
Seriously though is this a common thing, or are they adapting as the polar bears are?
Must have been an awesome sight.

It does happen now and then.

Polar bears and sometimes even people. But this is the first time I've seen more than one or two animals on a flow...and 2 flows as well.

Peace

Yea they're taking it quite well actually. I'd think trying to stay balanced in a group that size would eventually spook one of them into falling off…maybe they have instincts telling them better lol

You would think the weight alone would cause the ice to be hazardous, and definitely "tippy".

I wonder when and how they will make it to land safely?
Hopefully they didn't wash out into the inlet.

It looks like you can see several others in the background trying to bail. I think a lot of caribou died that day

Sure hope that most of them made it to safety. The lady in the vid said that one jumped off, but I didn't catch that.
