So, for a long time, there has been constant pressure to pass "controversial" legislation (quoted because often there isn't even a controversy --
literally almost no one wants a lot of it) that the people at large are not calling for. Not even a minority of the people. Sometimes it is tricky to
determine who is behind the curtain controlling things via their influence (see: bribe money).
There is solution to this confusion via a current hot topic: net neutrality
This is the most blanket example of this "circumstance" that I can recall.
THE PEOPLE are not calling for this. Not even a minority of the people. CORPORATE AMERICA (specifically tech companies) is not calling for this beyond
a handful of companies.
FIND who is pushing this agenda. Go up the hierarchical tree of who answers to who. At the top you will find your "powers that be". Maybe then we can
call them out by name, by their true identities, these sick, greedy individuals. The answer is more difficult than the cable companies. Who do they
answer to? Go up a few more rungs, and we should have the culprits.
Makes me sick.
