My buddy had a coffee shop/hooka lounge called Smaugs. The large picture window out front was painted in a fantasy motif a la Lord of the Rings. Unfortunately he had to close due to the fact that nobody went there... go figure huh?

Not sure whether the humor is intentional or not, but one hair salon here on San Francisco's Hyde Street never fails to bring a smile to my face whenever I pass it. It's called Hair On Hyde.

I used to work in a community arts centre called the ARTERY, it had a big mosaic of a love heart out side, it's now been torn down for a stupid car park, dam council for tearing the heart out of the community. Also across the road from the ARTERy was a cafe called KAFFIENE. Blah blah blah
