After watching the posted videos I have to say I think a couple of these folks were on the money and a few were shall we say off their rocker. And why oh why would that man come to an meeting like this dressed in that attire? It only begs for people to not take him seriously. I found the man at the end to be fake, just my opinion but he seemed like he was there to just cause something, glad the folks who traveled from out of town keep their cool and let him speak his mind. After all thats what it was all about right. I will say I do not buy the story of what happened there, I am living in a state that has suffered under laws passed in the middle of the night because of this incident, me and my family want the truth from an event that definitely effected us and made over night felons of some of us...

I agree with you.

Criticism/Opinion:
—Guy in the Ben Franklin costume, Dan the InfoWars dude, and the “YouTube investigator” did not do the group any favors by being there.
This is understandably a very touchy subject, especially in and around Newtown.
Many people believe it went down as told by CNN (even though, ironically that technically amounts to 16 different, conflicting accounts, most of which came from authorities, the media wasn't just making stuff up).
Not to say that there isn't any ‘dissension amongst the ranks’, as it were—because there is; even evidenced within the Connecticut State Police's Final Investigative Report itself—but still, it would be best if the arguments of the people capable of articulating themselves intelligently and maturely could stand on their own merits without being lumped in with “conspiracy theorists”, and their societally-associated conceptual baggage.

People should take note and learn from what happened to the UFO topic from the 60's to the present day.
e.g.
Charlatans like Stan Romanek, and the people that populate those Alien Abduction Conventions in hotels throughout the American southwest -- end up overshadowing the voices of the minority of serious-minded, legit researchers like Jacques Vallée.

I was impressed with Thomas Lapp, whoever he is. He articulated himself well.
Fetzer, Day, and Halbig spoke well, and I was pleasantly surprised actually. But still, they need to realize that many of Wolfgang's specific “16 Questions” can be answered by reading the report. I guarantee that if they do read the report, a more important set of questions will immediately become dreadfully apparent. Answers to these questions will not be forthcoming by FOIA, either. I'll leave it at that for the moment.

The self-proclaimed “bipolar” girl at the end, rambling incoherently about shamanism and quasi-beneficial mental illnesses just made a mockery of the whole topic. But hey—one didn't have to be a psychic to foresee that.

Even still, their trip went off considerably better than I would've anticipated, all in all.
I would have given good odds that Wolfgang would have been arrested.

I know little or nothing about any conspiracies allegedly related to Sandy Hook and I can't really speak intelligently about whether there is any validity to them or not.

However, I watched the recording of the city council linked to at the beginning of this thread. Absent any cover ups or such, I have to applaud the city council and the way they handled the matter. They allowed those folks to speak their piece; no doubt a difficult and painful burden to them, but I think required, and met it with nothing but dignified silence. Admirable, though I would wish no one else ever has to emulate them in this context.

There's a lot to be hidden regarding what really happened or didn't happen at Sandy Hook. That's why this town is, of course, acting like they have something to hide. Curious that they don't understand that the secretive behavior itself reveals that they are desperately conceiling something. Like that guilty look your dog has on his face before you've discovered whatever it is he's destroyed while you're out.

I know this may come across as off-topic, but may I just say, ***applause*** to you, imwilliam:
You've articulated a view that is contrary to that of many here, but irregardless I think all can respect how you chose to express it.

You are proof positive that perhaps mature, constructive debate is possible.
I mean that, for real.

As an aside, isn't it ironic that the Newtown Board of Education meeting was more peaceful than that other school board meeting in the next state over, where the man got arrested because he was (righteously) pissed that they were (essentially) giving his daughter pornography to read?

I was thinking exactly the same thing, the contrast is striking.

How sad that there isn't the least bit of evidence of what went down there except what the MSM told us. Back it up, and perhaps the skeptics will go away, until then...

I'm a trifle confused as to WHY this group decided to attend the meeting and say what they did. It was predictable they would be met with a stone wall of silence. They were addressing the wrong people anyhow imo - Vance, Sedensky, Kehoe, Carver - those are the people who need to answer a few questions.

I agree Halbig hasn't bothered to read the final report himself or his 16 questions would be entirely different. Which of course leads my conspiratorial mind to wonder if he isn't a plant to placate the truth movement. "oh don't worry, Halbig will find out what happened - no need for us to file FOIA requests". Many folks just blindly accepted him at face value but I don't simply because his list of questions are not the right questions to be asking. As for Fetzer, I don't know what to think of the man. Seems the loose cannon on deck if nothing else.

There has been no true accounting of the events at Sandy Hook. The vast discrepancies within the reports made by the officers on scene and witnesses there point to something other the standard version being true. This is also backed up by a careful study of both the timeline the police provided and the 911 calls which reveal a huge discrepancy on when the last shots were made and by whom.

So far it looks like they're going to get away with not telling the truth. The stonewall of silence between state and Federal authorities isn't going to budge.

I for one applaud these people for standing up and asking questions, regardless of your opinion of what happened there are questions that should be answered.
This was a public school bought and paid for by our taxes and the American public not to mention the people of Connecticut deserves full disclosure, so many unanswered questions...
Whether you believe the official account of Sandy Hook or not you should be praising these people for taking a stand.
Newtown is hiding something.

I like to know is how and why everyone is completely silent on the issue, no one from Newtown is saying a word. All I know is if I was a resident with schoolchildren I would be asking a lot of questions. It's so odd...

What you just said was, is, and will continue to be the crux of the issue.
How does it make sense to redact every victim's name and age from the report?
Why would that be some sort of secret information?!
The list of names and ages was printed in every newspaper in the world, and shown on every TV channel in existence within 48 hours of the event!

Forget about photos of the victims -- show ONE photo, ANY photo of a 20 year old Adam Patrick Lanza at the school!

Let's apply a simple, rudimentary process of logical deduction:

people are hiding somethingthere is something to hide.
something to hidecover-up
cover-upconspiracy

So choose the category of conspiracy:
pre-incident -OR- ex post facto

^One of these is TRUE. Both have radically different implications…

A few have stated the correct questions aren't being asked. How about posting the correct questions so we can judge their merit?

Personally, I don't see Wolfgang as being a plant.
Halbig and his attendant controversy/notoriety is very consistent with many prior causes célèbres which have populated (and divided) various social movements; libertarian-based ones in particular.

The thing is, to truly understand any issue (or criminal case) requires a disproportionate amount of time.
To spend a disproportionate amount of time on anything requires a somewhat introverted, academic nature.
Those in the public eye —giving interviews, raising money, etc.— are of a different, more outgoing, extroverted mindset.
Those who understand certain issues better are naturally skeptical of the outspoken ones, because they are sometimes light years behind in their understanding/knowledge.

Sorry, my last post was in reply to this^ and I forgot to articulate why Halbig isn't likely to be a plant, and is probably, in the scheme of things, well-intentioned:

That is because the masses of people thinking “Oh, Halbig's got this covered, I'll just put all of my efforts behind him”, were never in any danger of uncovering the truth, to begin with.
The self-proclaimed researchers, whose primary investigatory tool-of-choice is YouTube, aren't likely to be making any potential conspirators sweat bullets. If you catch my meaning…

() While it is too late for me to edit my post above, I obviously meant Adam Peter Lanza, not “Patrick”. Systemic caffeine levels seem to be running low…

How sad. 'Skeptics' need to leave the good people of Sandy Hook alone. They don't need a bunch of obsessed people showing up demanding to see police reports on dead children or photos or whatever else. Those Sandy Hook people suffered an unimaginable tragedy. Leave them alone!

That's why they act that way. The whole world would be down their throats if it wasn't for respect. They just want left alone. It's like going to Germany and asking the Germans about the Nazis.

See everyone says leave it alone and no one has any right to photos or evidence, but I disagree. The second an incident like this becomes a tool to use against the public then they deserve the right to investigate and have it equally legitimized to them.

If people dont want other people demanding evidence or proof then they shouldn't demand change. If people are really serious about change then sharing that evidence and info and pictures should be worth the greater good right?

I think its as simple as that. They deserve to be left alone and never questioned while they use the incident to try to affect laws that affect everyone? Nope. If you want change and a tragedy to be used to make that change then be willing to go all out for the greater good. If you want to force change while keeping half the story to yourself and essentially have your cake and eat it too then the people shouldnt be expected to stand idly by.

The day a tragedy Is simply a tragedy without politicians (or in this instance politicians and a bunch of townspeople) trying to enact sweeping changes that affect a whole country, that's the day people dont have questions. Don't want conspiracies, want to preserve integrity? Dont attach your agenda (which imo destroys integrity much faster than conspiracy theories).

The whole point going to the school board meeting is to try and get others to research it for themselves and question the lies being told by CT government and MSM. It makes you wonder how the first responders can live with themselves. I don't care if they forced you to sign a NDA. you come out and tell the American people what really happened. Let them try to sue you after the cat is out of the bag. What Jury on this planet would find you guilty.

I don't believe what the MSM and CT government said happened at Sandy Hook. When they don't release images showing the public that Adam was actually in the School. You know something stinks. That school had all kinds of security camera. The only reason to demolish that build is to cover up evidence of a staged event.
They didn't demolish Columbine High School after the mass shooting. They released images showing the shooters inside that school holding weapons.

Once the truth does come out about Sandy Hook. Anyone involved with the coverup should be charged with treason. They allowed the government to use that event to attack our 2nd Amendment rights.
