The Serpent

Deep in the woods I heard the serpent’s hiss

While minding my own business trying to take a ….picture

I backpedaled and couldn’t stop my fall

Thank Heavens though; it almost bit my ….leg

All this had me gasping and in shock

I needed a companion to stroke my ….ego

I lay for a minute in a breathless gasp

Then I stood up and had to scratch my ….

My mom gave me the camera because I mentioned it

But all my pictures look just like …..They’re out of focus

My Mother shouldn’t give me everything I want

I may love her, but she’s a silly ….goose

My my my... nice idea and all, but the "story" is so incoherent. If it would make more sense as a whole and the implied rhymes weren't so obvious, it might actually turn into something amusing.
