Paste it into the youtube icon, far right above the text box et voila- punk's not dead!
Haha - it's 4am where I live, & I love that you guys are up and tracking this thread.
Keith Morris (original black flag vocalist) has a newish punk band, 'OFF!' - give 'em a shot:
It's pretty funny really... back in the late 70s early 80s Punks were frowned upon as disugusting and dirty drug addicts etc etc... with NO
FUTURE...
Well, I shared a flat for a year and a half with a guy called Rob Reynolds (ex Burt Reynolds and the board walkers) and he turned out all right (well,
sort of, he is no longer a punk) :
I then hung around with a bloke (Mark Robertson the drummer) that was part of a psychobilly band called the Meteors... he is an accountant now :
Funny thing about it is now Mark is living in the same small village as myself, slap bang in the middle of France... Coincidence or what?
And me... well... had a couple of underground bands as lead singer but never became famous because we were crap.... but it didn't stop me from
becoming a fully qualified veterinary surgeon
Right, time for lunch and then siesta here...
Kindest respects

to you...)
You're right on Rodinus. Some punks went on to live exemplary lives, just look at Greg Graffin of Bad Religion. The same can't be said of all of
them though as alcohol and drugs were (are) a part of the culture. Stza Crack comes to mind pretty sure he isn't sober but still...good point.
