This doesn't sound good. I'm going to try and find other reports.

Details are still emerging, but WDTN reported soon after that multiple crews were en route to Dayton’s VA Medical Center were several buildings were being evacuated upon news of an active shooter situation, while others were being put in lock down as police searched door-to-door, according to WHIO.

Dayton Police Chief Richard Biehl says the shooting suspect, Neil Moore, is a retired employee at the VA. He reportedly worked in its housekeeping department.

Biehl say one person was injured about 12:10 p.m. Monday. Paul Burnside, 61, sustained a gunshot wound to an ankle. His injury is not considered life-threatening.

Burnside struggled with Moore over the revolver he was carrying, Biehl said.

Moore was taken into custody at Good Samaritan Hospital, where he was seeking a psychological evaluation
