Seems to me that they don't have a single clue as to what happened to that plane. NOT a clue.
It's speculations after speculations after speculations. UFOs were involved...no...err...a black hole swallowed the darn thing...errr....no...it landed at Garcia...errr....no...it crashed in the indian ocean....errr....it was hijacked by the pilot or co-pilot...no....it landed in China....err....it was because of the scientists on board...no...it was the cargo on board...
Now Al Qaeda.
Playing us much??

A Muslim connection has been my theory for a while now.
Earlier this year we had the attack at a Chinese railway station. so a Muslim war on China (presumably because of their controls on religion) seems very plausible.
It also accounts for the Malaysian reluctance to release information, because of the fear that their own citizens might be involved.
Remembering what happened a century ago when Serbian citizens got involved in an assassination.

A mass experiment of social acceptance.
The plane and its passengers are dead, all but a handful if any. The plane itself is lost. The world will forget. It is sad, but someone valued an agenda more than the passenger's lives. They are gone. The plane is gone. No answers, just gone. No rage. No vengeance. Like it never happened. This is our future, if we stand still.

Funny how the one person that told the British court about the "shoe-bomb" was never considered in the days after the flight... and suddenly they eventually consider to investigate in this direction?

The cargo hold of an aeroplane is cold ... cold, cold and then some more cold.
Only if the plane cought fire, or was "exploding" could this be considered ...

On December 15, 2004,RSPA issued an interim final rule[10] that prohibits the transportation of primary (non-rechargeable) lithium batteries and cells aboard passenger aircraft. The rule addresses Safety Recommendations A-99-80 and -85, the safety recommendations that the Safety Board issued as a result of its investigation of the 1999 fire at the Northwest Airlines cargo facility at Los Angeles International Airport and the testing of lithium batteries at the FAA laboratory.[11] The rule does not prohibit the transportation of lithium-ion batteries, but it notes the FAA and RSPA concerns about lithium-ion batteries and cells. As of August 3, 2005, the FAA and the Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA)[12] are testing lithium-ion batteries using similar methods to evaluate primary batteries and cells.

You missed my point, but then you got it in your next reply. My point was after arresting or questioning these guys they will suddenly find the wreckage and clear proof of evil Muslims doing this. It was sarcasm.
And yes I am aware of the religious demographics of Malaysia.
