It seems that Zarqawi and his group of terrorists and insurgents are alive and well and very much active in Iraq. They have now came forward with the claim that its was their Group that slaughtered members of the Iraqi security forces in Mosul. If Zarqawi and his group have escaped Fallujah and are back at work. After the raids in Fallujah that were meant to weaken Zarqawi and his group, and hopes were that they would capture or kill him have all but vanished. It would seem that Zarqawi is none the worse for the battle in Fallujah. Or is he only making these claims to give that perception?

USA Today Full Article

Iraq's most feared terror group claimed responsibility Sunday for slaughtering members of the Iraqi security forces in Mosul, where dozens of bodies have been found. The claim raises fears the terror group has expanded to the north after the loss of its purported base in Fallujah.

Meanwhile, insurgents attacked U.S. and Iraqi targets in Baghdad and in Sunni Arab areas.

Iraq's deputy prime minister, Barham Saleh, said sticking to the Jan. 30 election timetable would be a challenge, but delaying it would bolster the insurgents' cause.

Two U.S. soldiers were injured in a Baghdad attack, and another American soldier died in a traffic accident north of the capital, the military said.

U.S. and Iraqi forces killed 17 suspected insurgents in raids south of the capital Sunday, Iraqi police said. Operations there included a dawn speedboat assault by U.S. Marines and British and Iraqi troops on suspected insurgent hideouts along the Euphrates River, British media reported.

A statement posted on an Islamist Web site in the name of al-Qaeda in Iraq, led by Jordanian terror mastermind Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, claimed responsibility for killing 17 members of Iraq's security forces and a Kurdish militiaman in Mosul, where insurgents rose up this month in support of guerrillas facing a U.S.-led assault in Fallujah.

If Zarqawi and his group somehow are able to escape U.S. and Iraqi forces and continue their grip of terror on Iraq It could cause a delay in the elections scheduled for January 30.

Zarqawi is quickly becoming popular among the radical islamic groups around the world and throughout the Middle East.

Some are saying that it wont be long before Al Zarqawi rises to the status of an Osama Bin Laden.

Lets hope U.S. and Iraqi forces can "get him" and his group before that happens.

I guess Zarqawi is becoming more elusive now than Bin-laden.

I call him the incredible disappearing man, he can be anywhere and nowhere at the same time.

He was in fallujah and in Mosul at the same time period, if he ever get caught we should dissected to see from where his magnificent powers come from, who knows he may no be human after all.
I bet he is a Gray.
